"I was a scientist back at the Sigma World. One day, a human girl entered my lab. I was surprised that a human girl was on the planet, so naturally I asked her what she was doing there. She laughed, and told me that she was looking for strong creatures to add to her army. I refused, thinking it was a kind of prank. I'm not asking you, she said. She then looked at me, her eyes were bright yellow with red pupils. I remember I was scared to my core. Then, after that, everything went black."
As he was telling his story, Ely and I were listening. He was talking about Abbigail, the girl that appeared in the news when the Cyndicate arrived.
She told everyone that her name was Abbigail, that she was the dark witch, and that the world belonged to the Cosmic Syndicate.
Delta was in the couch, grabbing his head. The office was tidy, unlike the rest of the building. There was a jar with water on the table, Ely offered Delta some.
"Thanks, you are really kind...What brings two cute lovebirds to this place anyways?" he asked while drinking some water.
We explained everything. "We are here to save our family and friends" Ely said.
"Ah, I see...well... seems that everything is crazy out there..." He put the glass of water on the little table in front of him.
After some thought, Delta stood up and thanked us for our hospitality.
"Are you leaving?" I asked. "Yes, I must find more about the Cyndicate and their boss. They should still think that I am on their side, I'll use that for my advantage" Delta replied.
He gave us a communication device. "Keep this, with it, we can be in contact and I can help you out with the information I find" "I can't thank you enough for saving me, thanks"
Ely and I smiled at him and shook his hand. We had made a new friend that day.
