"Okay, no problem, we can beat them" I told to myself; as long as I had Ely on my side, I knew we could somehow get out of this pickle.
"Hohoho, what we have here?" A male voice said.
A sigma wave appeared between the monsters as they let him trough. I couldn't believe it, one of my own species, working for the enemy.

"Wait, you" he said pointing at me, "I wasn't expecting finding another wave in this planet" he exclaimed. Ely was a little surprised as well, "So you are a sigma wave like Sophie huh?" she asked. "Sophie huh? so that's her name" he said. "Actually, is Sophia. Only Ely can call me that!" I replied a little angry.

"Hoho, a wave with attitude! So your name is Sophia, I get it, and you said that human you are with is called Ely?"
"Who are you to ask!?" I yelled, how did he dared saying my Ely's name!
"Haha, you are feisty, I respect that"; "I am professor Delta, I'm one of the three admins of the cosmic syndicate" he proudly told us.

"Good!" Ely said with a sarcastic tone, "Now we are getting to know each other, why don't we talk more over a cup of tea?".
I giggled, I could see Delta's face shaking while smirking. "You two think you are clever huh?" "It's nice to face inevitable doom with humor" he added.

"We came to rescue the mayor!" I exclaimed, we didn't even knew if the mayor was here or not, yet we took the chance.
"Adorable, two little girls playing the hero" "Yes, we have the mayor, but he is not in this building" "As a matter of fact, you are standing in front of the new mayor, me!" he said while making an evil laugh.

Well, great, we came here just to find some megalomaniac and his goons. "Well, mayor Delta, it doesn't matter if the mayor is here or not, we will defeat you all the same" Ely told the professor. She was shaking, yet she said that filled with determination, she just squeezed my hand. I could tell she was scared, I was too, but I had yo be strong for her, and, no matter what, I supported Ely all the way.

"Yeah! we can't let you do whatever you please, people is being hurt by you and your syndicate!" I said.
"Hurt? yeah, that is the price some people must pay in order to create the perfect world" Delta replied.
"Perfect world? what do you mean by that?" Ely asked.
"Well, Ely, you see", Ely interrupted him mid-sentence; "My name is Elaine, only Sophie can call me Ely!!" she was also angry like I was, after all, those names were our special thing, aside us, only Allie could say them.

The professor was astonished for a bit. "Hehe, what's uo with you two? best friends or something?" he asked. "We are girlfriends" we exclaimed out loud.
"Haha, adorable, truly adorable, so you two love birds think you can step on the way of the cosmic syndicate huh?"

I loved how everyone's reactions were, no one thought it was odd that two girls were in love with each other, not even the bad guys. Heck, when I told my family that Ely was my girlfriend, they just happily screamed in excitement.

"I know that together, we can put an end to your madnesses professor!" I said. Ely just smiled and nodded.
"Hahaha! this is fun! Okay girls, I will teach you to respect your elders" He made a signal, and the monsters surrounding us gave a step back.
"I will end your little quest right here!".
