Chapter 16 -- Torn

His own hands start gliding lower, and he slides one up under my shirt. I pressed forward, sitting up. He leans back on his knees, straddling on my legs, watching me as pull my shirt off over my head and drop it gently on the floor beside the bed. 




While I was still sitting up, I opened his trousers and slides my hand inside, over his underwear. He groans, eyes rolling back in his head slightly.






I reached forward with both hands, sliding his trousers and underwear down his hips. I got the reaction that I wanted when he hopped off the bed, pulling them off, along with his socks, and returns to  me completely naked. 





"Now that's what we call sexy" I said seductively as I grabbed on the back of his neck to pull him down for a kiss












When I woke up, I felt someone's arms around me which pinned me against the bed. I looked at the clock on the nightstand. Seven seventeen.






I glanced at my left and saw Tyler,prawled on his face next to me, was still asleep, one arm thrown casually over my frame. His hair was tossled covering half of his forehead, in a manner that I find really sexy





Last night was truly amazing, it was as if we renewed our love into a brand new beginning. It was more than just a three-letter word. It was like Tyler, whom I fell in love with eons ago, came back to me last night






He was passionate. The way he carressed my cheeks, kissed me and nuzzled on my neck last night .. it was amazing! Beyond sensational





I smiled while I traced every fine conture on his face, his jaw line and up to his nose, Memorizing every details on his face like for the first time. He was undeniably handsome.





Not that I never noticed he wasn't but this time, It was not a cocky way of handsome .. but just plain heart-constricting handsome





I saw his lips twitched and curved into a smile, partly showing off his dimple while his eyes were still closed.





"Good morning!" I whispered as I sat up from the bed and kissed his forehead






I was to roll out of the bed when he suddenly grabbed on to my arm 
"Where're you going?" He said as he attempted to open his right eye while the other was still fully closed, feeling a little bit sleepy still from that four rounds we did last night






"Relax, I'm not gonna run away this time. I'll just check on Scarloe in the nursery.. Be back" I said and gave him a quick peck on his lips






Before I grabbed on to the knob, I picked up each of my article of clothing on the carpet and looked back at Tyler who was still under the mattress nuzzling on the big white pillow 





And when I slid a shirt on top of my head, I noticed na may parang punit sa may sleeves, which is an evident how impatient I was, or rather .. He was removing this thing off me last night






"Naughty lass" I said to my self and finally closing the door behind me





When I made my way to the nursey, I peeped on the door before finally sliding inside. Scarloe wasn't there on her crib tho, which I began to worry about and immediately called out for Manang Rosario






"Manang?! Si Scarloe 'ho?" I said when I spotted her walking around the living room with a feather duster on her right hand






"Ah.. Na sa pool banda kasama si Alex" 





My eyex widen with a realization I just heard from her "Ano ho? Alex?"





Alex?! Oh no .. 





I took the liberty to finally get back to my senses and walked down the stairs to the living room and then to the pool






Wrong timing, Alex.. Wrong timing! I thought as I rushed my way to the pool 








And there they he was sitting on a lounge chair while playing with my baby. They looked like they were having fun as my Scarloe grinned at him ear-to-ear, he tossed her up in the air which made her giggle louder







Then he glance on my way finally noticing that I was there watching them.
He smiled " oh looks like mommy's finally awake"






I approached them as I smiled at him. He pinched Scarloe's nose before he handled her back to me






He just stood there for a while, staring at me intently for who knows why. I suddenly felt shy when I realized I wasn't even wearing a bra at  all






Good thing I was carrying Scarloe with me. .. But still-- Aside from not wearing a bra, I wasn't aware 'til now that I was only wearing a boyleg shorts






Was that the reason why he's been looking at me like that?





I was getting a little flustered with the way he gazes at me, to add to the awkward silence between us






"Now that I realized it..." Here we go.. sasabihin na niyang wala akong bra





but instead "Hindi mo pala talaga kamukha si Scarloe"






Ano daw?!





"Is that suppose to be a compliment?" My right brow rose up while Scarloe was still playing with my hair





He just chuckled "Siguro mahal mo talaga yung Tyler Ano?"






I still didn't know where this conversations was going so I just rolled my eyes and said "Ano naman?"





"Kasi .. I heard from somewhere pag kamukha ng tatay ang first born, It means mahal talaga ng nanay yung tatay"





I just beamed at him with a smile, I couldn't help it .. "Saan mo naman yun nakuha?"



He shrugged "Wala.. sa isang local movie"





"Don't tell me naging fan ka na pala ng local movies?!" Ang pagkakaalam ko, Alex was never a fond of such. He thinks it's cheesy at masyadong pacute






"Since when?!" I teased




"Ikaw naman.. Minsan lang yun nung may naiwang dvd sa condo ko yung isa sa mga girlfriends ko" He rubbed the back of his neck as if getting shy about it






I suddenly felt like I should mess his hair just like nung mga bata pa kame. and I did while saying



"Hindi ka pa rin talaga nagbabago.. Tell me, was it kimerald? Richard-Angel? JohnLlyod-Bea? Ikaw ah!"




And we both ended up laughing like a fvck nut







"Ehem!"





Natigilan kameng pareho ni Alex sa katatawa when we heard a faint cough, I turn to that direction and saw Tyler leaning on the glass sliding door not so far from the lounge chairs and umbrella beside the pool, kung saan kami nakatayo






"Looks like you two are having fun huh?" 






Tyler was still on his pants but naked all the way up, his hair was still messy which could tell enough of the details that we did last night. 






"Dada!!!" Scarloe reached out her hands, signalling Tyler to carry her instead





I glanced back at Alex and saw how his jaw tighten but his expression was yet unreadable






Tyler approached us and stood beside me, his right arm coiled on my waist and held me closer to his chest---- it was one way he does when he's possesive and somehow when he does it right in front of Alex.. it feels awfully wrong






"Alex, this is my fiance .. Tyler." I said eye-ing the both of them


"Tyler.. this is Alex, a childhood friend, neighbor and a close family friend of ours"




Alex held out his hand and said "Nice meeting you, Bro"
Tyler took it and did the same "Likewise, Bro"





Somehow kahit medyo civil the way they shook both of their hands, something was ugly underneath.. Something wasn't right






 "Well then .. I better go now"
He turn his gazes back at me and smiled "I'll see you around, Diane.. "





And I watch his back as he slowly made his way out of the door


Maybe this is what Daddy told me last night, I had to make a choice .. A choice that I would eventually stand upon
