"And here it is, this is is how we get into the systems and deploy the world's atomic bombs. We aren't destroying the world, because it already destroyed itself." Ilian said to his co-workers. A hologram appeared over the meeting table. It looked like a child. "This is E.T.H.R. Which stands for End The Human Race. This is artificial intelligence disguised as a child. We live in a world of sinners, and we are going to cleanse the world of them. It's what A New Era's sole purpose of existing was." He continued. The co-workers applauded.

Back at the bunker, panic spread throughout. Everyone thought they were all gonna die. There's only so much oxygen before they suffocate, starve or die of thirst. Paige tried to tell people not to panic. Magna just shook her head. She knew the idea of a bunker in the first place was too good to be true. But then she remembered something. "Oh crap!" She ran down the halls and stairs to the entrance of the bunker. As the doors began to close, she hopped between them, nearly being crushed. Molly had followed her. "Magna no!!!" She screamed at her friend not to go to die.

"Dammit." Magna said at the closed doors. She had little time left so she ran to a car. She busted the window and hot-wired it. She drove out, to the city. People all over were spending their final hours together. Magna stopped the car at a daycare center where she ran inside. The kids who weren't picked up were in little numbers. "Dallas!" Magna called. A 9 year old boy came to her. "What took you so long?" He asked. "I'm sorry I got caught up in something. Dallas Rose-Springard is Magna's adoptive son by default. She happens to forget about him a lot. This happened to be the worst possible time. The lonely woman taking care of the rest of the children looked up.

"Godspeed Magna. It's a very, very mad world." She said "Yeah, it is. Godspeed Barbara." Magna replied. She picked up her son and ran out into the car. "Put on your seatbelt we have to go now." She said "Where?" Dallas asked. Magna sighed "The ANE company building." She drove off once more. A half hour later they arrived. Magna opened her trunk and took out a revolver and handed it to her son. "Lock the doors, if anyone tries to come into the car but me, shoot them and don't hesitate. Love you baby, I'll be back." She said and kissed his head. Magna grabbed her signature pistol and went inside.

Magna, with her gun hidden, discreetly searched the building. Until she found Ilian himself. "Sir could you please come with me for a moment?" She asked as if she worked there. "I have another meeting but alright." Ilian said. They went into an empty room and as Ilian closed the door, Magna took out her gun. "I'm going to kill you now you son of a bitch!" She said. Ilian held his hands up. "Edwards..." he said. "What?" Magna asked. A woman came behind her and tasered her until she was unconscious.

Back inside the bunker, Nicholas waited inside the medical office, Marilla sat with Timothy and the Pierce kids beside his hospital like bed. A woman wearing a lab coat came into the room, holding X-Rays. "So your leg has bee shattered and has punctured your femoral artery. You are internally bleeding. I can operate and do everything I can but I need consent." She said. "I wanna be there for my kids." Nicholas said, looking to his kids "Daddy might have to go away for a long time. I love you. You're my babies." He told them. He then motioned for Marilla to come to him.

"If I die on the table, you have to take care of them. If you can't and won't be able to get it together, find someone who will." Nicholas whispered. "You have my consent, Dr. Whitecker." He said to the Doctor. The kids got up to see their dad. "I love you dad." Lilly said, they all cried. They all said something along the lines of their family love.

Magna woke up outside the building, hours later. It was morning, the sky was red. And there was little time left. She looked at the building, it was empty and lifeless. Panicking, she ran to the car and got in. "Dallas! Are you okay?" She asked. "Yeah... what took you so long?" Dallas asked. "I was attempting to stop the end of the world..." Magna said. She took a moment and sighed. "Mama tried." She said and started the car.
