Nicholas was rushed into surgery. He was lucky to have still been alive after many hours of internal bleeding in his now swelled up leg. Dr. Jaqui Whitecker, among scrub nurses, took him into the closest thing to an operating room, where she began by releasing blood from the leg. And there was more than you could expect by simply looking at it. "The Room isn't sterile but it'll have to do." Jaqui said.

Magna had the pedal pushed all the way. The car was going full speed. "Slow down!" Dallas said. Magna ignored him. She had to get them back inside the bunker at Mount Chamber. Inside the bunker. Richard had arrived on the scene, next to Paige. He took a look into the back of one of the pods. "Damn... we're out of juice on these things." He said. "No!!! No, no no!" Paige screamed she kicked the pod. "Despite our back up food and water we'll never survive here 100 years." She said.

"Wait what?" Aaron asked. "A century, what do you mean?" Eve continued. "That's how long it's supposed to take for the Radiation to clear enough for Earth to be survivable again." Paige explained. "At least thats what WinterCell told us." Richard finalized. Chester observed what was going on and got away from the commotion. He saw Lex and Charlotte walking down a hall looking lost. "Hey!" He called. "Chester!" Char exclaimed, running over to embrace her friend. After, Lex and him had a man hug. "Jen and Lance are here too." Lex said. Chester nodded, as it was a good thing after all.

Blood continued to ooze and bush out out Nick's leg. Jaqui was stuffing it with towels. "It won't freaking stop!" She shouted. In an instant the machines Nicholas was hooked up to began to beep quickly. "He's crashing. Someone get a crash cart!" Jaqui called. A scrub nurse rolled one in as quickly as she could. "Charge To 300" Jaqui told her, rubbing the paddles together and placing them on Nick's chest. It shocked him. Nothing happened. "Charge again." Jaqui said, repeating the process. As it wasn't working, she began CPR, and in 15 minutes, Nicholas Pierce was dead. "Dammit!" Jaqui threw a towel onto the corpse ragingly.

As Magna turned right, her car made a screeching noise. "We're here. Let's go!" She parked and got out and ran for the metal hatch of a door. She began slamming on it. "LET US IN!!!" She screamed. Dallas followed her lead. On the other side, Molly had been waiting. "I hear her, she's out there! Let em' in!" She told a Guard. "Ma'am I'm afraid I cannot do that without authorization." He replied. She glared at him and turned around, slowly walking away. She got around a corner and sneakily grabbed a fire extinguisher. Running back around the corner she sprayed the guy with it, yelling similar to a war cry. The guard fell and before he knew it, Molly pulled the switch to open the hatch.

Magna smiled with hope. She crawled in with Dallas before the gate even finished opening. Getting up, the Guard re-closed it. "You oughta be locked up..." he muttered under his breath. Magna and Molly hugged. "You're so stupid, why would you do that?" Molly asked in a happy way. "Couldn't forget Dallas." Magna said, releasing. Molly saw the 9 year old kid. It had been a while since she saw him last. "Hey bud!" Molly exclaimed, they hugged too. The three returned to where Aaron and Eve were. Chester, Lex and Charlotte soon joined them and all gave eachother a quick hello.

Jaqui now stood outside the room where Marilla, Timothy, and the Pierce children awaited. She took a very deep breath, and hesitantly entered. "Lilly, Tara, David and Megan. I'm sorry, but we did everything we could but... your daddy... he died." She knelt down and held the kids' hands. Lilly began to cry. Then Tara did too. Marilla tried to comfort them. David and Megan were a bit younger so they didn't understand as much, but still felt sorrow. "I'm sorry for your loss." Jaqui said and rushed out, nearly in tears. Marilla later brought them and her son to a room where Jennifer laying a bed, feeling sick and drowsy.

"What do you want?" She asked Marilla, who was opening the door quietly, letting the five kids in. "Okay you guys wait here on the couch. Jen, kids. Kids, Jennifer." Marilla made a quick introduction and escaped the same door to her friends at the pods. "Hey! You know the last time I was left with children to take care of they killed eachother!" Jennifer called then rolled her eyes. "HI KIDS." She said sweetly. The children shared concerned looks, then, Lance came out of the bathroom looking like crap and said. "Ohhh man I just threw up three times. Oh hey, new friends." He said, hopping on the bed and he fell asleep immediately. "You kids play Monopoly or whatever, let Lance and I sleep." Jennifer said, signalling to a cupboard in the corner." Jennifer said and went to sleep.
