Three full weeks passed since our overnight party at the twin's house.
Three full agonizing weeks past since we talked to each other. No texts, no calls, no emails...Not that I cared about it...about him.
Kill the thought! Kill it! Kill it! I thought as I walk along the student filled corridor.
I have to concentrate. It's Monday, again and I really need to concentrate on the plan for the school's annual Halloween Fright Night and Bites Party. We have fourteen days till October 31st. I still need someone to drop by Walter's for all the special effects (fog, lights, etc.) inducing engines. Catering services...uhm, Grey's, no other choice. I don't have any other restaurant in mind and Grey's cooking is pretty superb. I need to talk to the president of the Arts Club for the decor...they better make it frightening. Rush...rush...rush. I entered my home room class and I found Alicia and Trinna seated at the front with a chair in between them. I took that seat as the room quickly filled up.
"So, what's the theme?" Alicia asked.
"Cullens and Blacks." I smiled at her.
"Vampires?!" Trinna exclaimed.
"And werewolves. Rawr." Len said as he passed us. Trinna grimaced.
"You have something better?" I inquired.
Trinna was silent for minute. She was about to answer when Prof. Glissa entered the room. As usual, he sat down on his chair, feets on the desk, take out the morning's newspaper and read. Most professor slack off at home room. You might thing that we can talk and talk and talk; but, no. Glissa won't let us. One loud-enough-for-her-to-hear noise, you're up for detention.
Alicia smirked while checking out her newly polished nails while Trinna scribbled something on a piece of paper she slowly and noiselessly tore from her notebook. She passed the paper to me. Written on it were two words : ROYAL BALL. =)
I rolled my eyes and wrote back : IT'S HALLOWEEN TRINNA, NOT PROM.
OH, SORRY. UHM, LET ME THINK.
WE'LL USE YOUR IDEA FOR PROM, THOUGH.
GOODY. =)
She quickly hid the paper beneath her notebook as the Glissa cast a suspicious glance around the room from the newspaper he's obviously not reading. Everybody froze from whatever they're doing. That's when-
"OUCH!"
We all looked at the source of the noise : Paul. I cast a quick glance at him before rolling my eyes and resuming my mindless daydreaming.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Detention to you and your seatmate...on the right." The Glissa said.
"Why am I included?" The seatmate asked. I know that voice. I returned my glance at their direction...it's Drew. And he was standing up.
"It's my birthday today. I age up one more year so I'll include one more student." He said nonchalantly.
"Damn."
"Excuse me, Mr. Adams. I am a fully qualified professor and I have every right to give you detention." He said. "Double detention to you."
I caught the eyes of Drew and I felt my head shake as if I was cautioning him. He slowly sat down, keeping his eyes on me. Once he was finally seated, I cast him one last furtive stare before I faced the teacher's table.
"WHAT'S YOUR NEXT CLASS?" Alicia wrote on the paper. I thought for a second before answering.
"ENGLISH. DANES." Trinna answered.
