Outside (Jae Park x reader)

20. Greetings

Monday had come by quickly and I was now getting ready for school.

Thoughts of Saturday still passed through my mind.

Of course I couldn't help but to smile as one in particular was played through my head.

The kiss.

That was my first kiss.

To say the least I'm glad it was.

It just felt so right.

So perfect.

But I can't help but to wonder.

Was that Jae's first kiss aswell?

Would I be jealous if it wasn't?

I guess that would just be too bad for me.

Breakfast was what I needed right now so I walked to the kitchen in order to get it.

Finally, I started eating.

About halfway through there was a knock on the door.

Dad had alredy gone to answer it before I could even move so I just shrugged and carried on eating.

"Oh, um, hi I was looking for Y/n." I heard Jae say from the front door I could barely contain my squeal when I heard him.

"Ah you must be Jae. Y/n's just having breakfast." My dad greeted in response.

The front door was pushed shut and both Jae and dad walked through.

My dad went off to do his own thing whilst Jae was nearing the kitchen.

"Hey." He greeted me.

"Hi, why'd you come? You can sit down if like." I bombarded him with words tapping my hand on the seat next to my own at the last part.

"Thank you." He said as he accepted and sat down, "W-well I came because I was wondering if we could walk to school together? I mean it's completely fine if you don't want to." Jae continued.

"I'd love to do that honestly." I said blushing.

We both smiled at each other like idiots before I got to flustered and continued to eat my breakfast.

"Open up." I said to Jae signaling for him to open his mouth so I could feed him.

He opened his mouth rolling his eyes in a joking way.

I fed him some of my cereal.

"I already ate this morning." He whined.

"Well I have to make sure my boyfriend is keeping healthy." I explained proudly.

"Ugh whatever, just as long as you're keeping healthy as well." He said making me blush.

I'm pretty sure he actually liked me feeding him.

At least I hope he did.

If he didn't it happened so I'm sorry Jae.

Regardless, this was a great starter to the morning and I was feeling ecstatic.

Even if the rest of the day was filled with school.

As cliche as it may seem I had Jae by my side so that made me even happier.
