25. Parents

Y/n pov

Yesterday Jae invited me for lunch to meet his parents. Of course, I agreed.

To be honest I was actually kind of terrified. What if they didn't like me?

Oh well. I guess that would be something I'd have to deal with.

Would we even stay together?

No I need to stop.

If I kept thinking like this I would start to cry.

I just have too many questions without answers. Those answers would probably come out later today.

Not knowing what to wear I just dressed casually, I didn't want to seem over the top.

I took a deep breath trying to calm myself before leaving. It didn't really work but it's worth a try?

"Bye!" I yelled to both my parents.

I rubbed my arms, my nerves were really starting to set in now.

My fist collided with the door as I knocked. No really sure of what to expect I but my lip.

"Hey!" Jae greeted and my head instantly flicked up. His arms wrapped around me, I hugged him back. As we were letting go he kissed the top of my head. A smile was formed on my face along with a small blush. "Hi." I responded.

"Well come in." He said, taking my hand and dragging me with him. "Jae, I'm nervous." I whispered to him "Why?" he asked l "What if they don't like me?" I asked, Jae turned around and looked at me, his arms once again pulling me in for another hug, "I promise they'll love you." He comforted, a small smile on my face "Thank you."

"Mum, dad, this is Y/n." Jae said to his parents. "Hi," I smiled giving a small wave. "Oh hello." His mum smiled, a friendly smile. "Hello." Hi dad said giving a small nod.

"It's lovely to meet you Mr and Mrs Park." I said.

"Oh it's nice to meet you too." Mr Park siad.

"Please come in and sit down." Mrs Park explained, showing us to the living room. Jae gestured for me to sit next to him, so I did.

"Lunch will be ready very soon." Mrs Park  said.

"Oh is there anything I can do to help?" I offered.

"No, you're right, please just enjoy yourself." She said giving me a smile whuch I returned.

"How did you guys meet?" Mr Park asked.

"Well, we go to school together, I'd seen Y/n around quite a bit. I saw in the park one day  and decided to talk to her." Jae gave a quick recollection of the first time we properly met.

"Well I'm surprised you talked to someone." Mr Park said causing me to giggle.

"That's not fair I have one other friend." Jae defended. That's more than me though.

"One wow, congratulations. I bet Y/n has more friends." He said causing to giggle.

"Actually Jae is my only friend." I laughed.

"Well Jae, I apologise. I am wrong." Mr Park chuckles, Jae just nods victoriously.
