•Lindsay's POV•
I was currently stood in front of a giant waterfall.
Or at least that's what I thought it was.
Ryan pushed a loose piece of rock on the ground besides me and the Earth began to shake.
Hundreds of black birds took to the sky as all the trees swayed violently.
I heard a gasp of shock and turned back to the waterfall only to see it splitting in half.
A passage way was made with narrow stairs leading downwards.
"I have to go down there?" I squeaked moving forward to get a closer look.
"Um yes."
It seemed like Ryan wanted to say more but he kept quite instead.
"Are you guys allowed to come with me?" I asked not really wanting to do this on my own.
"Unfortunately, no, we're not allowed to come with you." Brandon informed me.
"Now love," Caleb started off resting his forehead on mine. "No matter what happens in there, you have to remember that it's all fake. None of that is actually happening ok?"
I nodded trying to remain calm.
"Rose!" Lacey yelled catching all of our attention.
Rose quickly glanced to the left and pushed her boyfriend Ryan out of the way catching the arrow just before it could hit him and breaking it in half.
She looked up at the tree where it came from and her eyes grew darker.
She ran towards the tree and climbed it faster than anyone I've ever seen.
Once she got to the top, she bent backwards and dodged another arrow.
She grabbed aloh of the bow and flung the man holding it onto the floor.
She broke the bow and hopped off the tree landing perfectly on her feet.
Walking over to the wincing attacker, she lifted her foot up and stabbed her heel into his heart killing him instantly.
A loud cry of pain sounded from behind us followed by the sound of something dropping the ground.
We all turned towards the sound to see a man laying dead on the floor directly behind Brandon.
Brandon stumbled back in shock.
"Why do I always end up saving you?" Lacey asked rhetorically as she smirked wickedly glancing down at her latest kill.
"I-"
"Save it." Lacey shot Brandon down as he tried to speak.
"Damn girls," I managed to laugh despite my nerves. "I've got some bad ass friends."
"It's your turn next sugar," Rose winked at me.
"Lindsay, it's time to go." Ryan said looking at his watch.
"Just remember, we'll be watching you the entire time and we'll make sure nothing happens." he said as he ruffled my hair.
"Watch your steps." Lacey warned me as she gave me a hug.
"You'll be just fine." Rose reassured me hugging me as well.
"Good luck babe." Caleb engulfed in a tight hug and planted a sweet kiss on my lips.
"Good luck!" everyone waved to me as I desended the stairway.
As I walked, I looked at the paintings on the walls.
They were beautiful. In one wall, there were only paintings of plants and insects and on the other side, there was a huge painting of a rabbit that oddly resembled Snow.
My thoughts were cut off when I stood in a loose brick.
My reflexes kicked in and I ran towards the door in front of me.
The floor where I stood earlier fell in and a huge metal ball fell from the ceiling.
I winced as I heard it crash to the floor. If I was just a little slower, I would have been crushed underneath that ball.
So that's what Lacey meant by watch your steps.
I transferred my concentration unto the enormous door in front of me.
It was breathtaking. There were massive wings on either side of the door with beautiful detailed work on the top and bottom.
However, I was extremely shocked when I inspected the middle closer.
There was a huge palm tree with multiple different flowers on the bark but in the middle was a rose.
Not just any rose, a white rose which coincidentally is my favorite flower. In beautiful calligraphy, something was written on the rose.
I dusted it off to get a closer look at what was written on it. I gasped as I read it.
Lindsay Destiny Hope Kenneth.
Daughter of Charlotte and David Kenneth.
Elder sister of Savannah Kenneth.
Guardian of the Forests.
Superpowers include; seeing the future, healing wounds and controlling nature.
Second most powerful in the dimension as we'llI was shocked because exactly what Ryan said.
I looked below the flower to see a hand. It looked vaguely familiar. I wrecked my brain and finally I remembered.
It was the hand that had a meaning for each finger. I saw this once on Instagram.
There was tiny writing under it which read 'place the two most important fingers to you on the space provided and the door shall open'
I looked at it again and immediately put my index and middle finger in the appropriate spaces.
"Enter the correct code"
A voice echoed throughout the room.
I looked at the keypad and immediately knew what the password was.
01-15, my birthday.
The door flung open with a bang surprising me.
I walked into the room and glanced around. It was green. The walls, the roof, the floor. Everything was green.
In the centre of the room, stood a single table with an earpiece and goggles on it.
I walked over to the table and placed the earpiece in my ear and adjusted the goggles to fit.
A chair rose up from the ground and I took a seat. It was super comfortable.
A loud scream sounded through the earpiece as I began watching what the goggles displayed in front of me.
