Full Moon.
Remus started trembling.
Chain's rattling.
Windows clattering.
Friends watching.
Teachers observing.
He couldn't think.
His mind blank.Blood rushing.
Heart pounding.
Breath hitching.
Limps trembling.
Head buzzing.
Organs shaping.
Teeth sharpening.
Bones snapping.
Pupils narrowing.
Claws growing.
Paws forming.
Shoulders hunching.
Ears reshaping.
Jaw changing.
Screams.Remus was screaming like a madman, trembling awfully, his body clenching in awful ways, pulling on the chains, fighting against them.
Sirius started shaking madly, walking to Dumbledore, trembling.
„Undo the chains...! P-P-Please stop...! LET HIM
GO..!"Dumbledore looked at Sirius, his face cold and resolutely.
„We can't."„Y-Yes you c-can..! S-stop this, y-you're hurting h-him..!"
Sirius yelled at the man, his eyes cold and determined as he grabbed the elder by his ropes, shaking them. „NOW!"Dumbledore looked at his student who was being lectured by McGonagall which no one really noticed.
„It's not us that's hurting him, it's h-"Dumbledore was suddenly quiet, everyone present looked to Remus' direction, the boy was throwing up blood all over the floor, more than all this time. He'd have filled the bucket by now, his teeth -which were somewhere in the process between being his and the carnivores' fangs- were covered in the red liquid as he tried to breath, his mouth open as more blood came dripping out because of his organs' reshaping.
He tried to look up but couldn't, his breath heavy, fast and a mixture between deep, angry growls, whimpers and a gargling sound because of the blood in his throat, half on it's way out.
His jaw started reshaping, his cheeks splitting, ripping open in straight lines as he screamed madly, blood on the floor, his half-ripped robes hanging loosely, the dark hot liquid staining his cheeks-which consisted of shreds of flesh by now-, burning like fire in his mouth, dripping down his chin...Peter had to throw up at the sight, grabbing the bucket which had been Remus' earlier, being patted on the back by Madame Pomfrey who felt unable to bear the picture occurring a few meters away.
James was standing next to Sirius, who was trembling, his breath hitched and panicked because he knew he couldn't do anything.
McGonagall was with Dumbledore who watched in silence, but the woman couldn't bear the sight.
She had watched Remus transform before, from a safe distance in her Animagus form, but this wasn't how it normally went.
You normally would hear him whimper in pain, breathing fastly and crying when he had changed back-if he was concious- ,but this...
You wouldn't hear bones snapping, he wouldn't throw up blood and his cheeks wouldn't rip open like that. And it wouldn't seem this long and this painful. It seemed like hours that the room was quiet except for Remus' screams -which faded into whimpers slowly before occurring in the form of angry roars- and Sirius desperate pleads to his teachers to do something and his heart-breaking sobs into James' shoulder when they said they couldn't.
When the transformation was finally over, the boy Sirius loved so much was replaced by an angry werewolf who wasn't nearly as weak as his human equivalent had been, roaring loudly and pulling hardly on the chains before giving up and looking at the people surrounding him.
His eyes were empty, his pupils wide and the iris dark as he looked at everyone one by one, growling deeply and baring his fangs, his clawed paws clenching. His breath was fast and heavy, his eyes angry as he looked around.
He started sniffing deeply, his eyes fixing on Sirius suddenly who was trembling madly, sitting on the opposite bed with James and Peter comforting the emotional boy.
Suddenly, the werewolf started whimpering loudly, making sad noises, his ears laid back flatly in a mournful way, his eyes shining sorrowful.Sirius looked up at the creature, trembling madly as those sad eyes fixed on him.
For a second he had hoped to see a glimpse of Remus' warm eyes, some human feelings or some sort of emotion which would have been a glimpse of hope to get Remus through this alive.
But there wasn't any of that.
Of course there wasn't, he had been naïve to expect that.
Those eyes were cold and the ones of an animal. But the werewolf seemed to know him.
He seemed to realize that he knew Sirius, he seemed to recognize him, but Sirius knew it was impossible.
The werewolf couldn't know him.
It was impossible, it had been proven so many times before.
He couldn't possible know him...„Shit!"
Sirius suddenly got up, looking at the werewolf across the room.
James got up as well, looking at him.
„What..?"Sirius waved his hand at James and made a shushing noise, walking towards Remus.
„Mister Black!"
McGonagall tried to stop him, but Sirius didn't even bother to look at her, he was keen to walk up to Remus.
The werewolf didn't growl or move, he just looked at Sirius, his eyes basically pleading for him to come closer.
He did recognize him...McGonagall started to walk towards him but at that, the werewolf bared it's fangs at her, growling deeply and angrily.
„Mister Black, step back right now!"Sirius looked his professor dead in the eye, a meter away from Remus who was still growling at her.
„You step back.
He's growling at you, not me."McGonagall gasped at him, but no one else said anything, everyone watching in silence as Sirius stepped in front of the werewolf.
He had stopped growling as he looked at Sirius, his ears laid back carefully as he slowly came closer to him as good as he could since he was chained, slowly nudging his cheek with his long and strong jaw.
Just the way he had done when they were in the Animagi form...
He knew his smell because he knew the dog...Sirius took a deep breath as he realised what was going on. He slowly raised his hand and placed it on the other side of the werewolf's head, stroking it carefully. It seemed so strong and unknown, but yet it did seem familiar...
„It's alright..." His voice was quiet as he talked to the werewolf whose ears were laid back slightly. The boy moved his hand carefully and ready to move away, stroking the Werewolf's jaw and powerful muscles.
„You're okay Remus..."McGonagall and the other adults were watching in horror, their eyes wide but they didn't dare to say anything as they watched silently.
Sirius didn't move an inch as the werewolf laid his head on his shoulder, his fast breath slowing down as he eyed James and Peter carefully, his small eyes piercing them.No one in the room moved, spoke or acted in any way for the next few hours, everyone except Sirius had sat down quietly while Sirius stayed by Remus' side, keeping him calm, occasionally stroking his jaw and whispering comforting things into his pointy ears.
For Sirius, the night went by too fast... way too fast, because after what had felt like a few minutes, McGonagall -who had been restraining herself from freaking out because of Sirius' actions so far- got up, taking a deep breath.
"Please back away, Mister Black.
The Eclipse will start in a minute..."Sirius took a deep breath, his voice inaudible to everyone except Remus as he backed away.
"Stay strong..."
Peter pulled the curtains shut through which he had looked outside, taking a deep breath.
„Here we go..."
A second later, Remus whole body went limp.
He would've fallen onto Sirius if it hadn't been for the chains which held him up, his round eyes fell shut, his pointed ears slackened and his head fell onto Sirius' shoulder.
At last, his breath slowed and finally stopped._______________
Okay guys, I know this isn't good but I really can't manage to get anything decent done..
