4. The Gift

Draco stood in front of Voldemort with several other death eaters, waiting for his instructions.

Today was Draco's 10th mission and he was proud to say that he hadn't killed a human. He always managed to Obliviate the death eaters and plant fake memories into their heads showing how Draco tortured and killed several people at once.

Draco smirked. It was so easy to fool snake face. Really Voldy?

"Today you are to attack the Big Ben. It is an attraction in muggle London. You are all to apparate there directly and cause those filthy creatures to panic. And kill as many as you can", he smiled evilly.

"Look who we have here. Harry Potter and Traitor Weasley". Bellatrix's insane laughter rang through their ears. If harry felt disgusted, he didn't show it. But Ron visibly cringed and staggered away from her.

"Wormtail, lock the traitor in the dungeon. I need to have a word with Potter", she said while eyeing the sword of Gryffindor.

"Luna!", Ron looked at her, shocked to find her there.

"We didn't know you were captured"

"Oh. Actually very few people seem to notice my absence. I was captured on my way back to Hogwarts."

"Why you?"

"Well, because my dad likes to publish the truth"

Ron sighed. He wondered what that mad woman was doing with Harry. Where are you Draco Malfoy? !

Harry was thrown inside by Theodore Nott.

"Hey. Aren't you Theodore? Draco Malfoy's friend ?", asked a dreamy voice before Theo could shut the door.
"Yes Loony, the very same one", he snarled and slammed the door shut.

Luna looked at her feet and sighed

Draco returned from the mission and found Voldermort killing and torturing anyone who came in his way. He was in a such a foul mood and Draco had a feeling it had something to do with Potter.

From the corner of his eye, Draco saw Theo motioning him with strange hand gestures. So Draco acted on guess and apparated to his house.

His guess was right as shortly after he arrived, Blaise and Theo followed suit.

"Mate, Potter needs to be careful." Theo said seriously.

"What happened ?"

"Potter and Weasley were caught by some snatchers. They were brought to the Manor"

Draco's mouth dropped open.

"How did they escape ?"

"We have no idea, mate. One minute they were in the dungeons and the next they were in front of us throwing hexes everywhere. Your old house elf, Dobby, helped them escape."

" I really liked that elf", Draco said in a small voice, thinking about some certain witch's S.P.E.W

"Draco", Blaise interjected.

"Hmmm?"

"None of the death eaters of the inner circle were shocked to find that the trio had been reduced to a duo."

At this Draco turned around and looked at Blaise.

" So you mean Hermione er I mean Granger is with them ?"
