29. The Wedding II

"Draco?", Draco sat up in his bed and saw the silhouette of a wavy haired brunette by his door.

"Everything alright ?", he asked and was about to get up when she stopped him.

" I uh...wanted to sleep with you.", her cheeks turned red.

Draco smirked.

She shook her head.
"No no no. That's not what I meant. I mean like sleep sleep here.", her cheeks turned a bright shade of red.

Draco chuckled and pulled her down on the bed. He grasped her hands tightly in his own and stared at her.

" You didn't have to ask me for it. You should've just jumped in.", he told her softly.

She smiled.

" I never asked.", she chuckled and kissed his nose.

He laughed and cradled her face in his hands before kissing her.

Things escalated pretty fast and soon they were in nothing but their undergarments.

Draco continued to trail kisses down her neck to her stomach and lower-.

"Wait.", she said breathlessly.

Draco looked up at her with lust filled eyes.

" Come here.", she stetched her arms open.

Draco hugged her. " What's wrong ?", he asked softly.

" I just don't want to...", she took a deep breath. "Have.....have sex.", she said in a small voice.

Draco's heart broke and he mentally cursed himself for forgetting what she had been through.

"I'm sorry. It just slipped-"

"No, Draco. Don't be. It's. ...its just that I'm not comfortable with it right now. I-I don't know why..... I thought I was over it all. Don't get me wrong,  Draco. I know you're nothing like them. Nothing at all. But I just need some time."

"Take all the time you need. It doesn't really matter to me as long as you're with me. And then whenever you're ready, we'll make love .", he smiled at her reassuringly.

She held him tighter.

" You're the best. "

'Tell me something new."

"Ginny!", Lavender came bursting through the door.

" What Brown ?", Ginny growled.

Lavender frowned.

" Hormones.", Harry mouthed.

Lavender hid her smile and approached the redhead.

"I was just wondering if you could help me with my dress shopping."

"Shopping ?", Ginny's eyes sparkled.

Harry laughed. " Take care Gin." As she rushed towards the room to grab her purse.

Daphne rushed towards Hermione with her hair piece in her hands.

"Here. Found it.", she panted.

" Thanks Daph.", Pansy said, taking the hair piece from her hands and fixing it on Hermione's hair.

" Perfect!", she squealed.

Hermione shook her head and chuckled. This was so unlike Pansy.

" All ready Mione! Draco's gonna faint!!", Ginny laughed and fanned her herself.

Hermione looked at herself in the full length mirror and had to agree that she looked quite.....elegant. Beautiful even. She blushed and turned away.

"Let's check up on the bride."

Lavender had hired 3 makeup artists and a hairdresser. No surprise there.

The girls entered and were shocked at the sight. Lavender looked magnificent in her cream white dress. The dress hugged her figure until her waist and then fluffed out until her toes. Her dirty blonde hair was held back into a half updo with soft waves framing her face. Her heels sparkled as they caught light at well as her jewellery. 

Luna was first to break the silence.

" You look beautiful Lavender. "

"Thank you.", she blushed.

" LAVENDER! !", Ginny flung herself at her.

" You beauty !!! Where was this-" she eyed her up and down-" hidden all this time ??"

"You really look gorgeous! ", Hermione smiled.

" Too pretty!", Pansy jumped in.

" Too much!", Daphne joined.

Lavender chuckled.

" Well then I can't wait to see Ron's reaction.", she laughed.

"That stupid excuse for a man is going to faint!", Ginny squealed.

" That's your brother Ginny!", Hermione scolded but chuckled.

She snorted in response.

"Come on girls! It's time.", Mrs. Brown came inside. Her eyes were watery and so the girls took the clue and left Lavender alone with her mother.

" You look gorgeous", Draco grabbed her hand and kissed it. She blushed and mumbled a thanks.

" May I have this dance ?", he asked.

Hermione looked up at him and felt herself drowning in the depths of his silver eyes. The silver in which a little grey swirled.

"Of course.", she breathed out.

He held her hand and drew her closer; their bodies touching. He twirled her once and then twice. He glided her gracefully across the room and all couples parted to make way for them. They stared into each other's eyes and lost themselves. They forgot about the world and danced like there was no tomorrow. They kept dancing until the music stopped.
Draco twirled her once and brought her into his chest and stared at her. She smiled when she remembered what had happened at Harry's wedding. She was afraid back then, but now ? She looped her arms around his neck and he leaned in closer. His breath teased her lips and she licked them in anticipation. He cupped her face gently and brushed his lips against hers. She smiled against him and captured his bottom lip between her own. He smirked and kissed her back with equal favour.

They both were smiling when they pulled away. The girls attacked Hermione and teased her endlessly. She blushed and blushed. And blushed.

As soon as Hermione walked in, she heard the door click shut behind her and footsteps approached. She turned around and gasped as Draco kissed her hard yet lovingly. He grabbed her waist and slowly guided her through the hall into his bedroom. She kicked the door open- never once breaking the kiss, and jumped up, wrapping her legs around his waist. He groaned at how good she felt. He grabbed her from behind and squeezed. She moaned and began to grind against him. He forcefully pulled away and panted. " You're not ready."

She gave him a chaste kiss.
" What if I am ?", she whispered.

His pupils dilated. " Are you ?", he asked.

"Try me.", she whispered.

And then his mouth was on hers.

They didn't have sex. They made love.
