The next day at school Jane just got out of Art and was headed to lunch. She goes through the line to get crappy school food and then sets her tray down on her table. She scans the cafeteria until she finds Jax's table. She walks over to the table and started going off on Jax.
"What in the world were you thinking? You see that there's a new kid so you recruit him to help you with your dirty work. Gunner shouldn't have anything to do with ur stupid gang." Jax looks at her with an expression of annoyance.
"Did he tell you? I thought I told him not to say a word." Jane scowls at him. Jax tells her
"Okay, little miss priss you can go back to your table and study. Now go away or I will escort you... And it won't be pretty." Jane goes back to her table and finishes her food.
Later that night about 6:30 Gunner gets a call from an 'unknown number' out of curiosity he answers the phone.
"Hello, who is this," he says. Then the man on the phone says it's me. Axel." Gunner seems confused why Axel would be calling him so late. Axel says
"Hey, you remember when I told you what happens at the barn stays in the barn? You told Jane and I'm not so happy about that. You see, your little girlfriend walked over to our table at lunch today and started defending you. I told you not to tell anyone. Since your chick wants to stick her nose in other people's business she's gonna have to deal with the consequences. Bye Gunner" Gunner hangs up the phone still trying to process what just happened and goes to sleep.
