Alex was just like Jack, as we sat there and I told him the story, he said nothing, he just nodded and listened. After I had finished he pulled me into a hug and whispered into my ear;

"You're so strong Kayleigh." I hugged him back and giggled.

"I'm no stronger than anyone else really."

He pulled out of the hug just as Jack burst through the door.

"NOOOOOOODLES BENDER!" He yelled.

"Pass them here then!"

"Manners Alexander, manners."

"Oh, sorry! Pass me the noodles, prick" He said sarcastically. Jack smiled.

"So much better, twat, so much better" and passed him the noodles and threw himself down on the sofa opposite us.

I laughed, this was the banter I always watched on the interviews and the videos, and now I was experiencing it first hand, it was brilliant.

"Hey Kayleigh, you sure your not hungry? I'm a master at noodle making." Jack said, looking rather proud.

"No, I'm fine, but I'll defiantly try them another time?" I offered.

"YEEEEEEEES" Jack screeched, "You'll love them."

"If they don't kill you." Alex whispered in my ear.

ALEXS POV;

Wow. Kayleigh was beautiful, so beautiful. Her hair was a slight faded red, that was up in a messy bun. Her makeup was running abit and she looked really worn out, but still perfect. Not that I can blame her, she's had to stay strong for such a long time. Maybe it would help if she got away from her mum for a bit and stayed with us...

"Alex come and help me wash up dude!" Jacks voice inturrpted my thoughts

"What? Are you incapable of washing up 2 plates?!"

"Excuse me, but there's all your glasses and plates from earlier today scattered out here, you tramp!" He shouted from the kitchen. I sighed.

"You gonna be okay here for a while?" I asked Kayleigh. She nodded, but she looked kind of nervous. "Are you okay babe?"

"Yeah, it's just.. um, could I use your shower real quick?" She smiled lamely and I laughed.

"Ah, of course, grab a towel from the cupboard at the top of the stairs, the bathroom is on the 3rd floor, you can't miss it. Your room can be the one opposite it. Me or jack will have your bags up in your room by the time you get out. That okay for you?" I winked at her.  She grinned madly.

"That would be perfect sir" She wink and stood up, we were face to face now, her eyes were perfect..

"ALEX, WILL YOU GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE, NOW" Jack screamed. I sighed.

"Best go and attend to Master Barakat, before he looses his head." We walked out the room together, she smiled at me gratefully just before she ran up the stairs.

JACKS POV;

"ALEXANDER." I shouted for the 600th time.

"I'm here bro, don't shit yourself!" He finally appeared at the kitchen door, I threw a towel at him.

"Get cleaning."

"Jesus, what's up your ass?" He suddenly shot at me.

"Nothing" I shot back, "I'm fine. Alex smirked at me.

"You like her don't you!"

"No."

You do, you can't lie to me, Jack!"

"Will you just shut up and clean."

Alex laughed.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, BOYS AND GIRLS THE BARAKAT HAS FALLEN."

I punched him playfully.

"I hardly know her man.."

"Get to know her then dude!"

"Hmm." I sighed.

"Hey look.." Alex suddenly perked up. "She's just gone for a shower, I said one of us will bring her bags up, you do it you might catch her in her towel." He grinned.

"You are dirty Gaskarth."

"Just go and take her bags you hairy motherfucker."

I walked out to the car to get her bags, they were surprisingly light, I wondered how many clothes she had, I mean she had 3 bags with her, but they wern't that big.. as I got up to the 3rd floor, I heard  a faint voice as I crept closer I realised she was singing, I carefully put her bags on the bed in the spare room and stood outside the bathroom door, trying to work out what she was singing.. Then I got it. Actors.. by All Time Low. Us.

Safe little house, safe little friends, safe little thoughts to keep you safe, from all those big bad wolves that eat you up.. oh shitttt. Safe in your room, safe as a tomb, sleep in a coffin made of glass, it takes a big facade to hide the cracks.

Can we make this last? Cos' now I'm not so sure, are you up to the task? Sometimes the sickness is the cure. You're searching so hard, you've lost yourselfffff.

As she got to the chorous she paused.. I stepped back from the door, thinking she was getting ready to get out. Then she started singing again, putting all of her heart into it this time.

Does it help you to pray as your wasting away? Like a silver screen cliche. Cos' after all we're actors on a stage.  Would it help you to wait for the moment to break? Is it real or is it fake? All we are, Just chapters on a page, cos after all we're actors on a stage.

Her voice was beautiful, she had a serious talent. I wondered if anyone knew she could sing like that.. I'd have to confront her, without sounding like a creep who pervs on her in the shower..

I smiled and left her to her singing while I went downstairs.

As I walked into the lounge I was greeted by Alex.

"WHAT HAPPENED?" He was almost bursting.

"Nothing, what the fuck man!"

"Jack, you were up there nearly 20 minutes brother."

"Nothing happened I just made her room nice for her, since the last one in there was Rian and he left everything a mess!"

Alex grinned.

"Did you catch her in her towel?" He winked at me.

"You sir, really do disgust me." I tried to acted serious, but he threw a pillow at my head.

"Jack, word of advice for you.."

"Yes?"

"Wait abit before you make her watch Home Alone with you."

"Fuck yourself Alex, Home Alone is worthy."

I threw the pillow back at him and went in for the kill.

"I loved that last bit of hairspray by the way babe."

Then he attacked.
