New Beginning

Maya's POV

I was eating toaster strudels with Riley at her house when the door slammed open . Corey and Topanga rushed the door with tons of groceries .

"What's all that for ?" I asked with my mouth stuffed with food.

" Well , my siblings are coming here for Thanksgiving . "

"Why ? Can't they just eat together in Philly?" I ask with a still stuffed mouth.

" Well , we wanted to spend this year together since -" He cut himself off .

" Oh." I said swallowing my food . I felt bad for getting him to think about his dad , really bad .

" So is Eric, Morgan , and Josh coming ? " Riley asked .

" Not Morgan but Eric and Josh , yes ." Corey  answered.

" Why not Morga-"

" She's busy ."

"Oh. Well , what are ya gonna eat?"

" Well you know , you are invited . And we're  having turkey , like normal people have on Thanksgiving. "

" So , " I walked around the table , trying to keep my cool " when are they going to get here ? "

" Tonight ." Corey said not even looking up from the bags .

I look at Riley and give her a smirk and she rolls her eyes . Josh! Josh! Josh! Josh! Josh!

"You are not being my aunt Maya !" Riley yells playfully.

"What time ?" I ask Corey.

"I don't know , six ?" He answers back .

" Ok , six it is . " I said with a smile. I run out the door and go to my house .

I started walking back to Riley's apartment around five thirty . I went to my house to get everything I would need for the night, even though I usually just borrow Riley's clothes . I grabbed my phone , laptop , and makeup .

I opened the door to Riley's and came in and sat on the couch .

"You're back ." Riley said from the table , eating a raw carrot .

" And you're eating a carrot? Raw? You hate carrots . "

" I know I'm trying to be healthy . " she said as she but her carrot , then she gagged.

Corey ran out from the hall . " Maya!" He yelled.

"Yes?"

"Is Shawn coming tonight?"

"I think so wh -"

" Yay !" He yelled throwing his hands in the air with jazz hands .

At that moment the door bell rang . Corey went over and opened the door . There they were , Eric and Josh . I decided  to act cool and not care that the dreamboat Josh was there .

Josh walked over to the dining room table and gave Riley a hug . " A carrot? " Josh asked .

" Don't ask . " Riley said back. Josh started walking my way , I quickly looked down at my phone as he sat down on the other side of the couch . I felt his eyes on me . I glanced at him like her was crazy .

" What ? " I asked him .

" You aren't going to pounce me ?" He asked confused , scowling .

I laughed a little " No ! " I pulled my eyebrows together , stood up , and walked off.

I walked up to Eric and gave him a hug and sat down at the table . Topanga put a pizza on the table and everyone sat down . I was sitting in the bench with Riley when Josh pushed me and Riley apart and sat in between us. Riley and I gave him an evil look but he just gave us a small smile and started to talk to Auggie .

"Riley , Maya ,  why don't you guys help Eric and Josh grab there things and help them unpack there stuff into the guest room ? " Corey asked as everyone piled their empty plates to the middle of the table.

" Ugh , sure . " We both said in unison . We followed Eric and Josh down the lobby and to their cars.

" Why did you bring two cars ? " I asked Eric.

" Lotsa stuff ! " He said back handing me a bag .

Josh and Eric tossed and handed me and Riley a ton of bags . Even though we carried up more weight than us , we luckily made it all in one trip . We helped them unpack their stuff . Josh had tons of bags and told us to only unpack the basics . After we were done unpacking we went back out into the living room . 

" So, " I say jumping out into the living room " why does Josh have so much stuff . I mean I don't care or anything- " I stopped myself .

" He's moving into the guest room . "

        Oh crap .

Hope you guys liked this first chapter . It was kinda short but I wanted to get it out there with a good cliff hanger hope you enjoyed . Vote please and say in the comments what you want to happen , always cause I want your opinions!!!!
