Maya's POV
Riley and I walk onto the subway after ten minutes of waiting . There's no seats so we stand . Right when I hear the sliding doors shut , I hear him talk behind us .
Josh .
" Maya . " I turn around to find him smiling . " I came . "
I sigh in relief and smile back . " You came . "
How is it that I'm fine now ? I'm okay because he's here . Sure , I'm still upset that he denied me today , but he was the one who tried to kiss me , in the bathroom in Philly . Though I won't admit it to anyone ... I have hope . I'm not giving up yet on us .
" You want me here , then I wouldn't miss it . "
" Thank you , Boing ."
" Where is everyone ? "
" We're meeting them at the movie theatre . " Riley says , without looking at us .

As we walk into the theatre , I instantly see my group of friends waiting next to the spot where you get tickets .
Lucas catches my eye and his face instantly lights up - until he sees Josh , then it goes dull and emotionless . I bite my lip .
Josh is right . It isn't fair for me to lead Lucas on because I don't know how I feel about him . And I do know how I feel about Lucas - I only see him as a friend , now that Josh has come into my life again .
No , Josh technically isn't in my life in the way I want him to be , but I imagine him eventually being in my life that way someday , and I can't think about being with other guys right now because of it.
I need to tell Lucas the truth .
I don't even want to be at the here right now - I want to be at Riley's . Hanging with her and Josh.
As rude as it is , I don't care about Bradley - he just seems like the kind of guy who just wants to get into my pants . It's mean of me to not give him a chance - which I will , just not tonight ."
So, being my stupid self and acting before thinking , I walk over to Lucas . Riley and Josh trailing behind me . " Lucas . "
" Maya . " He smirks .
" Bay window - bay window right now . "
" But the movie ? Right now ? " Lucas' eyebrows pull together.
" Bay window ? " Bradley asks . His eyes fully analyzing my body .
I feel Josh tense beside me .
" Yes, right now . Lucas , Riley , Josh - come with me - everyone else stays for the movie ."
" What? " Lucas , Farkle , and Zay all say in unison , clearly confused and upset .
" Oh , yay , things just got interesting . " Riley says enthusiastic .
I grab Lucas by the arm . " Come on , huckleberry . "

Farkle's POV
Zay , Bradley , and I stand there dumbfounded.
" I just can't believe we were ditched like that . How come they didn't invite us ." Zay asks , clearly offended .
" Who knows . It's obviously Maya and Lucas drama . " I reply back.
" But Riley and Josh were invited ? "
