Maya POV
Riley and I are sitting on the couch watching tv when I hear a door close shut . Then , Josh and Camille walk into the living room - they look messy . I sigh out loud and turn back to the TV .
" Whatcha guys watching ?" I hear Josh's voice from behind me , which makes me jump .
" A good show ." I say back .
" Okay then , Maya . Which one ?"
" Lost in Space. " I say quietly .
" Oh that's a good one . It's too bad at the end when-"
" Shut Up ! " Riley and I shout in unison .
" Jeez , guys , I was just kidding !" Josh messes with our hair . " I can't believe you think I would actually do something like that !" Josh laughs .
" Oh, I saw the trailer for this show !" Camille says trying to get in the conversation.
Josh comes and sits on the coffee table right in front of Riley and me . The way Josh is sitting makes each leg go on the outside of my legs -I swear I see Camille's eye twitch .
Camille comes and sits down next to Josh . " So ," Camille starts , grabbing Josh's hand , " Are you gonna show me the highlights of New York today ?" Camille asks batting her eyelashes .
Josh laughs , " Sure , I guess. I mean , if you really want to ."
" Of course !" Camille excites .
" Cool , then I guess the four of us can go together then !"Josh says looking at Riley and me .
" No ! " Riley says standing up .
" And your other friends ?" Josh guesses .
" Of course !" Riley explains sitting back down .
" Good , I haven't seen you and Maya's friends for a while ." Josh excites standing up . " Call them."
"Okay ," Riley says , " Maya , you call Lucas -"
" Do I have to ?" I ask cutting her off .
" Yes , Maya ! And I'll call Farkle and Zay ." Riley finishes .
" W-why does Maya not wanna call Lucas ?" Josh asks quickly jumping in .
" Ummmm..." Riley hesitated while looking back and forth from Josh and me .
" I'll call him !" I say changing the subject . I grab my phone and go to my call log until I find Huckleberry 🤤 Then, I call him .
" Hello ?" Lucas deep voice asks .
" Hey ."
" What's up ?"
" Come to Riley's house we're gonna show Josh's girlfriend around town , and we want you and the guys to come with us ."
" Josh has a girlfriend ! Since when ?" Lucas asks a little too happy .
