He stared at the family of his new found mate and felt the need to take her away, this environment was horrible. Lynden hadn’t even mentioned the two other kids of Alpha Marcaius when she’d mentioned meeting the family, in fact she’d deliberately stopped her own son from mentioning them. The hostility between these two kids and the rest of the family was palpable, and Alpha Marcaius seemed to be a neutral point, unable to take action and unwilling. Weylin sneered at the alpha’s obvious weakness, it was clear to see that the man was coming close to the end of his time. He studied the eldest son, the one who’d stepped in when his mate was ready to say something, it was obvious from the looks he was getting from Lynden and her three children that if he was to stay in this position without his sister he’d end up with the same fate as the Alpha’s last mate. “Alpha Marcaius?” the Alpha turned tired eyes on him. “I would ask that you allow me to take your daughter to my territory. And in exchange i could possibly take the training of your eldest for his role as Alpha. I’m sure your already busy enough with the tension between some of the packs here on the east coast, and seeing as how he already knows and get’s along with all the members of your pack you would not have to worry about bonds. It’s the least i could do if i’m taking away your only daughter.” Weylin didn’t even spare a glance for the other two girls who took in sharp breaths of surprise at his last remark. Behind him Ian coughed, but did not comment. Alpha Marcaius stared at him with a look of utter relief and gratitude, his eyes darted from Weylin, to Lynden, to his son Zale then back to Weylin. He gave a wide smile “Yes, it is the least you can do after taking away my eldest daughter. If Zale agrees i would not mind, i am sure training with you will be much more educational and worthwhile then training with an old dog like me.” Marcaius replied with a chuckle. “Non-sense! The boy is not Weylin’s responsibility! And obviously Rossalynn is rejecting her status as Weylin’s mate! She should be exiled to the rogues and he should stay here under his father's guidance.!” Lynden’s face was the perfect blend of shock and annoyance. Weylin himself bristled at the suggestion that his mate would reject him. Her objection was perfectly normal, she probably had a boyfriend, the thought made him growl, and she’d probably been shocked, but it seemed to be every she-wolf’s dream to find a mate as powerful as himself. Zale spoke up, taking Weylin’s attention off of the thoughts of his new mate “It would be an honor to train under you Alpha Weylin, if you are sure you do not mind the burden.” he said meeting Weylin’s gaze head-on. Weylin smirked at the boys outright challenge, he could tell already this would be amusing “I don’t mind at all. We leave for my territory tomorrow afternoon, please tell… Rossalynn, that, when you see her.” Weylin said before briskly turning and leaving the same way Rossalynn had.
