I yawned and stretched, getting up and sighing once I realized where I was: I'd climbed up the Eiffel Tower and fallen asleep on a rung crossing the middle- partially hidden from view, yet I could still see Paris in its entirety. The only problem was that I was literally sleeping on an Iron bar ( or whatever the Eiffel Tower is made of), but I could get over it, I'm not a wimp. I can't afford to be a wimp; with everything that's happened lately.
So I detransformed, and headed to school.

I walked up the steps, tired from the few hours of sleep I had gotten and tired from walking the three miles it took to get to the school. Nobody was outside, and I wondered if I was late- no, I couldn't be, the sun isn't far up enough in the sky yet, so I must be on time. Hmm...
I walked up the steps, wanting to know what was going on. There was a mess of a crowd, people jumping and raising hands and yelling and playing some sort of video over and over. I scanned the room, wanting to see what the commotion was about, when someone pointed at me standing by the doorway, yelling "THERE HE IS!"
People surrounded me from all sides, pushing past each other. It was so loud that I couldn't totally make out what anyone was saying, something about "He's staying at my house!" Or "What if he's known all along?" "Guys-" I said, no one noticing. I tried a few times before resorting to yelling "GUYS! What's going on?!?"  The crowd quieted, heads turning from one another to me, and Nino spoke from the top of the staircase in the middle of the room. "Dude, your dad's a villain." Silence for a few seconds- it made sense, why they were playing a video- someone must have seen what had happened at my house the day before. My eyes widened. How would I sort all of this out? I decided on telling a different version of the story: One where I wasn't a part-time hero, just Adrien .
" This is new to me too. My father's assistant picked me up and told me what had happened- she wouldn't let me confront him, and she insisted that we leave the country and go somewhere else. That's probably what he thinks I'm doing, but I wanted to stay here. I can't leave my life behind." Once I finished my little speech, the crowd calmed some, but I knew there were some questions brewing that I couldn't honestly answer, so I made my way to Nino, easing through the crowd of classmates and kids from other grades that I didn't even know. When I finally reached the top of the staircase, Alya was standing next to Nino, Marinette at her side. The events of the night before had slipped my mind; I had thought it was only a dream- but there she was, and as I looked at her, I knew it wasn't. I felt my face grow hot and ignored it, fighting the blush on my face and facing the group . Alya had been showing them a video, and Marinette's face had turned as pink as her pants.
They looked up and ran over to me, Alya putting her hand on my shoulder, her eyes crazy with excitement. She took a deep breath, mumbling about something I couldn't hear. "Adrien, you're in a huge mess, but I have to ask- where'd you even stay last night, if your house was- you know- not an option?" I hadn't really been expecting that, so I stuttered while trying to find an answer. "Well, if you need somewhere to stay, Marinette's house has-" Marinette gave her friend the shut up look. "ALYA! Uh-um- I guess it is true, but uh, you don't have to, I'm sure you already have somewhere else- "  Alya and Nino where fighting the urge to snicker at her awkward attempt, and I shook my head. "Uh, Mari? I guess I don't."
