Super High Ch.19

Aria

"So, Jake, how's things with Tasha?" I asked Jacob as we walked around the library. We have a free period together this semester. Craig, Ray, and Tasha have it too, but we decided to go off and talk.

"Great. I think I really love her. We just click on so many levels, ya know? Emotionally, physically, mentally." Jacob whispered.

"Yeah. Craig and I are the same, but," I sighed and checked to make sure no one was around. I made an air bubble around us that was soundproof. No one could hear us, but we could them.

"But?" He asked.

[It seems like Craig is hiding something from me. Everyone. He's been spending a lot of nights alone and since he got his apartment, he barely leaves it. Jacob, I'm afraid. -Aria]

"Aria, there's nothing to be afraid of. Craig is fine." Jacob patted my shoulder. I shook my head.

"Jake, when I first met Craig, he knew exactly how a Villain should be. He sounded just like a Villain. I'm afraid that he might actually be one." I said as someone passed by us.

"Don't pressure yourself, Aria. Just give him some space. Maybe that's all he needs." Jacob smiled.

"Yeah. I guess so." I nodded and "popped" the bubble around us. "Come on. They must be worried about us."

"Yeah." Jacob nodded. We walked back over to Tasha, Ray, and Craig at the back of the library. I sat on Craig's lap with a small smile.

"Where did you two go?" Ray asked.

"We just walked around and talked." Jacob answered.

"Talked about what?" Craig asked.

"About best friend stuff." I said.

"What kind of best friend stuff?" He asked.

"Get a best friend and you'll find out." I retorted. He rolled his eyes and kissed my cheek.

"Stop it, you two. No doing the thun thun in the library." Tasha said and I stared at her.

"The thun thun?" Ray asked.

"Yeah. The nasty." Tasha rolled her eyes.

"Wow." Ray laughed.

"Shut up, Tasha." I smacked my lips as the bell rang. "Let's go to lunch before she says something else."

"Thought you were just another Romeo

The shoe you past buy in the store window,

Soon as I got home I wish I bought you instead

I got it bad I'll take the black, take the navy and red

No other man has ever, ever had quite this effect

I sleep alone cause there's no room in my bed For any other lover

With no gun to my head

Your kisses hold me hostage

And I don't wanna stop it"

I was singing softly to what I thought as to myself as I sat next to Craig at the table.

"You sound amazing." Craig kissed my cheek.

"Thanks." I blushed, then sighed. "Craig, can we talk?"

"Sure." He smiled and we went to the breezeway outside. "What's up, baby?" He grabbed my hand.

"Craig, are you keeping something from me?" I asked. He was still for a heartbeat.

"No. Why would you even ask something like that?" He shook his head.

"I don't know. You're always spending your night's doing something, always telling me not to worry about it. You're just acting weird." I said then paused. "If you're actually a Villian you know you can tell me right? I wouldn't care."

"Aria! I am not a Villian! How could you ever think that?!" Craig snapped.

"I'm sorry! I'm just trying to figure out what's wrong with you!" I snapped back. "You know what? Nevermind."

"No. Aria, wait." Craig pulled me to him and gave me a soft, passionate kiss. "I'm not a Villian and I'm not hiding anything."

"Promise?" I whispered against his lips.

"Promise. Now stop being all detective on me and kiss me." He said as he squeezed my ass. I laughed and kissed him before pulling away. "Can we go back to lunch now? I'm hungry and it's chicken nuggets."

"Yeah. Let's go." I smiled. I was still worried about him.
