(Y/N POV)
After throwing our stuff in the back, the four of us piled in Liza's car. Josh was driving and Liza was next to him in the front. Brendon and Sarah were in the row behind them, and Tyler and I were in the very back. The drive was originally supposed to be three hour, but traffic delayed it to five. And we'd decided to leave EARLY in the morning. Right as rush hour started.

Really, we'd done nearly no planning at all. Everyone- except for Josh, who'd downed two coffees- was absolutely exhausted. I stumbled into the car and buckled myself in. Tyler wrapped his arm around me and I promptly fell asleep.

(TYLER POV)
She looked so pretty with her head rested on my shoulder. She had no makeup and her hair was a mess. She was gorgeous. In the front, Josh and Liza held hands and quietly chatted. Sarah and Brendon were loudly discussing random things and scrolling on their phones. I was surprised that (Y/N) hadn't woken up yet from their extreme noise. It was clear that she was out cold.

It was five A.M., early for the both of us. I decided that I'd wake her up around eight so that she had time to sleep but she didn't snooze through the entire car ride. After everyone had completely woken up, I figured she'd enjoy whatever we were doing.

TIME SKIP: Four hours later
(JOSH POV)
I can't even express how good it felt to have Liza next to me. Holding her hand, kissing her cheeks. It felt like I'd never been in love before. Maybe this was how (Y/N) and Tyler felt. Of course, we hadn't really kissed yet. I wondered what it would feel like. Tyler described it as a hunger that can never be satisfied. (Y/N) described it as magic. The two of them had so many sparks it was practically a fireworks show.

"Yes! I'm marrying Tyler!" Brendon shouted. Tyler, Brendon, Sarah, and (Y/N) were playing M.A.S.H.

"You cheated, Brendon! You should've landed on Josh! That was clearly a six!" Tyler yelled, and I chuckled.

"Well looks like I'm marrying you too, Tyler," Sarah said. "You're such a cheater."

"I got Brendon! Are you kidding me?! Everyone gets to marry my boyfriend but me!" (Y/N) pouted. Everyone else burst into laughter. "No offense, Brendon, but you're not my type."

"Hey, guys, we're here!" Liza said, grinning. I looked over and shyly smiled at her. We set up our three tents, piled our stuff inside, got in our swimsuits, and went in three different directions. (Y/N) and Tyler went off to take pictures, Brendon and Sarah went on a hike, and Liza and I stayed back. We planned to all meet back here around one to get ready for swimming, which left all of us plenty of time to have fun.

I walked over to Liza, and grabbed her hand. She smiled at me. "Have you ever kissed anyone?" I asked. I'd only kissed two girls before her, and they sure didn't give me fireworks.

"Yeah. A couple boys. It doesn't sound as amazing as Tyler and (Y/N) describe it, though," she said. "Maybe one day I'll find my soulmate." Oh. So she didn't consider me her soulmate.

"How will you know?" I asked, but what I meant was 'Could I be your soulmate?' She seemed to pick up on the undertones, though, because she leaned in and kissed me.

(BRENDON POV)
Honestly, I'd been hyped about this couples trip since it has just been an idea. We had the lip-lockers, (Y/N) and Tyler, the newbies, Josh and Liza, and then there were Sarah and I, the Golden Oldies.

(Y/N) and Tyler's couple name fit them perfectly. Not only were they a perfect match, like a key and a lock, but they weren't afraid to show it. Tyler, being a hardcore Christian, and (Y/N), being more reserved, didn't get all handsy or obsessed with losing their virginity. They were just obsessed with kissing.

Josh and Liza were adorable but awkward, like emus or something. Who knew if they'd even reached lovebird status. They were like little children.

And then Sarah and I, who'd been dating since the summer of eighth grade. No doubt we were basically a married couple at this point. I loved her. A lot.

"Rock climbing!" she yelled, pointing up to a cliff. Excitedly, I followed her. It wasn't professional, just a few rocky cliffs we had to climb. She made anything enjoyable.

(TYLER POV)
"I am not posing for you, Tyler," she said, giggling cutely.

"Please? Just one picture? I'll take it with your camera. It'll be cool," I insisted. She sighed.

"Fine," she obliged. "But only one." She stood in front of a lake, her hair sparkling. I took several pictures. My favorite was one of her facing away from me, looking like a cloud of happiness.

My cloud of happiness.

As we continued walking, I thought about the nickname we'd been given. The lip-lockers. Joined at her hips and the lips. We were pretty inseparable, but I just loved her so much. I couldn't ever let her go. I'd stay in those hard plastic waiting room chairs for a week if I had to if she was in the hospital. No, I'd go in surgery for her.

I'd die for her.

The two of us began talking about everything. I filled her in on how much I missed high school, and she agreed. Even with the little splotches of missing memories, she felt it, too.

We walked around a bit longer until I checked the time. It was almost one.

"Let's head back," I said. So we did.

(JOSH POV)
It was twelve thirty-seven. Hours after our first kiss. And I couldn't even describe it.

More than fireworks.

"Dynamite," Liza whispered. "That kiss. It was like everything exploding. Every emotion, every worry, every anxiety. Dynamite."

"It really was like magic." I grabbed her hand and we sat, weaving flowers into crowns and bracelets like she'd taught me. Sitting in silence. We didn't need to speak. Our thoughts were enough.

A few minutes later, the others joined us back at the camp and changed into their swimsuits.

"Let's go to the lake!" (Y/N) yelled, holding hands with Tyler. Liza and I stayed behind everyone. I still felt like a new person from that kiss.

Dynamite.

Magic.

Desperation.

Hunger.

It took me a minute, but I realized- these were all words to describe love. We all were in love. We waited in hospitals for each other. We'd sacrifice our lives for each other.

"Come on, daydreamer, come swim with the rest of us!" Liza yelled. So I did.

(TYLER POV)
She was the cutest, and the sweetest, and the best. I loved her.

"Couple goals!" Brendon yelled, as if he could read my thoughts.

Couple goals indeed.
