5- The Master Mind

BASED OFF OF EPISODE 7. Sanjay Edwins is played by Avan Jogia. 

I look at the picture of Clifford DeVoe, "I don't know, Barry. The way you guys are describing him, he sounds...normal." 
"But Sky," Barry says. "The points match up. Samurais, he knows Mina, and--"
"I was going to say he was too normal. It could be a decoy," I suggest.
Iris looks up at me from her sitting position, "do you really think that he's covering this thing up?" 
"Iris, c'mon. He's a smart person. He's just too smart. We have to figure him out," I said. 
"Lets cover all our bases, before we jump to conclusions," Caitlin says. 
"Agreed," Iris nods. "CCPD, Caitlin has some friends that can help, and Cisco and Harry can help with digital footprints." 

Barry heads for the door too. I teleport in front of him, "and where do you think you're going mister?" 
"To talk with someone," he replies. 
"DeVoe?" I raise an eyebrow. 
"Yeah, I have some questions." 
"Hm," I take his hand in mine. "Don't poke the bear, okay? I've got to make a few phone calls. I'll see you later though." 
Barry pulls me closer, "that seems too long." 
I wrap my arms around his neck, and press my chest against his. "I love you, Barry. I'll be back before you know it." I kiss him, and then let go.

Caitlin scans the mug. Its normal human DNA. So far, everyone else thinks DeVoe is not who Barry thinks he is. I check my phone and sigh at the text message. 
"Oh no, what's up?" Barry asks. 
"Nothing. Sanjay just said it seems likely he's our guy. But the evidence says otherwise. Sanjay is a genius, but he's even having a difficult time with this. He says if DeVoe is who we think he is, he's really good at what he does. He also thinks that there maybe a  few missing pieces, though he thinks its best you don't do anything out of the ordinary."
"What are you talking about?"
"Look, I have seen some crazy people do some crazy stuff. But Sanjay is right, if you continue what you are doing, you will get consequences." I tell him sternly. 
"I haven't done anything," Barry says. "Whatever your friend Sanjay said is not..." 
"Correct?" I take a step towards him. "Barry, what I am saying is that you aren't wrong. But until we know for sure, please be careful of your actions." 

Barry sighs, "I'm going out, and talking to Joe. He wants me to come down to the CCPD." 
I get out of his way. "I have a friend to talk to. Yes, its Sanjay. He's brighter than you think, if you actually got to know him. I know, you've been busy. You met Izzie, but I know Sanjay is walking on the same path of intellect as you are. Trust him, and trust me. Don't get into trouble." I teleport and end up in the Lightning Cave. 
I find my friend sitting in his office chair. I tap him on the shoulder, and he jumps. 
"Oh my God, Sky, its you. You scared the living crap out of me," Sanjay beams. 
"What's with DeVoe?" I ask him. 
Sanjay pivots back to his computer, "he's got nothing on him. It could be an act, and could not be. The fact that he has nothing to point fingers at just makes it easier to believe he is who he is. See what I'm getting at?" Images of Sanjay's research show up on screen. 
"You're saying he's a master mind?" I don't have to look at the device to tell what's on it. 

Sanjay drops his pen on the desk, "exactly. DeVoe has everything planned out. Everything you told me, seems like it all him and his wife too. Do you know what? I wouldn't even be surprised if he knew who your fiancé really is." 
"You know who Barry is?" I knit my eyebrows together at this. 
"Of course. He's The Flash. I might also know about that thing with you and Nightwing had over a year ago. Don't get mad at me." 
I bop him on the head, "why do you do that? You stupid, snooping, genius. I love you right now, but I also hate you." 
Sanjay grins, "its what I'm here for. Hey, Caitlin Snow doesn't have a boyfriend, does she? I know she's Killer Frost and all--" 
I cross my arms, "you've said enough. Be there for my wedding, unless there are party crashers that ruin it." 
"Obviously, got my black suit. Also, I would not advise inviting all of your friends to the wedding. We'd be talking an Amazon, two billionaires, a king of Atlantis, the Lanterns, the rest of the crew here. The ceiling would explode," Sanjay makes an explosion gesture. 
"You know too much for your own good, Scientist Sanjay Edwins," I shake my head. "Watch out, someone's going to steal that brain of yours. See you in a few days." 
"We'll be holding the fort for you," Sanjay says.
