A/N: ENTERING SEASON THREE PEOPLE! I know, I skipped the entirety of season two. But I thought about how terrible I'd be if I got rid of this story, like some of my other ones and felt really bad, because that's not fair to you guys. So, I thought that if I added more to this, its would be best for all of us.
I'm trying to make this quick, so there has been a character change and instead of Nora, yeah I'm really sorry about that. They (Barry and Sky) have a daughter, but her name is Hope, the reason for her name is my idea because... well, you'll see. Played by Lana Condor, she is super awesome.Soo, lets begin, shall we?
The girl, who just claimed to be our daughter, smiles at all of us. I stand there, still stunned since she barged into Joe and Cecile's house. She has a rounded face like mine and dark brown eyes. From what I can tell, her personality is mirroring Barry's pretty well. So here she is, looking around the Speed Lab like a little kid in a candy store, talking ninety miles an hour about how happy she is. She sounds like... me.
"Wow, I totally think this place is so old and--"
"No, no, we can't hear you," Barry tries to drone her out.
Hope halts in speech as soon as I put my hand up to stop her. "You can't talk about the future to us, at all." I rest a hand on her shoulder, "okay?"
"Right. Got it, Mom-- uh, Sky. Sorry, I just..." Hope pauses, when Caitlin comes up to run some tests on her DNA. While Cisco drunkenly saunters around, after his marathon of quenching after we all found out about Hope. Hope briefly studies the band on her wrist to test her vitals, and grins. "This is trippin', I guess I'll start running now, um... Hey, you guys can check out my electricity whirlwinds if you want. I mean, you guys haven't seen them at this time, and..."
"Sure, we'd love to," I respond with a smile.
"Great!" Then Hope speeds away into the track.
Barry looks over at me, "why would you say that?"
"What? She seems really excited to show us."
"She needs to go back where she came from, Sky. I told you, the longer she stays, the more chances we have of screwing up the timeline."
"I know, Barry. Trust me, I do. But she is our flesh and blood and she deserves to know who we are. Don't you want to see what she can do?"
"She has all that time in the future to know who we are. I just don't want to ruin that. I want us to watch her grow up, and learn everything thing about her when she turns into an adult, not her as one already."
"You will, and I understand where you're coming from," I assure him.
Barry checks his phone, "I've got to go to work, but I'll see you later." He kisses me on the cheek and the races out of STAR Labs.
I glance upward into the Speed Lab's track as a blur of blue and yellow flies around and around. I feel a sense of pride in how much of an amazement she is. It doesn't take long to realize that Barry's gone, and she comes back down.
"Where's Dad? Err, Barry?"
"He went to work," I reply. "But how about you show me all your abilities? I'm really interested in seeing what you can do."
"I really want Dad to see though. He works at the Police Station, right? I can go there and see what he's up to."
"Hope, that's not a good--" I halt as a cannon of air whooshes by me. I sigh, "ugh, speedsters."
