He knew he should tell his wife about this but he just doesn't know how, where or even when. There's never a right moment to tell someone you love so much about something like this.

"Mr. McGraw, your next appointment will be next Thursday at 3:25PM." The doctor said and Tim nodded slowly and took the note from the doctors hand.
"See you then." He said and walked out. He got in his car and drove out of Nashville, stopping at his quiet place.
Tim never thought this would happen. He didn't think that it would come to this point but here he is. With a big secret and a sickness. He sat there for few hours, thinking and even crying sometimes. He had sent Faith a text telling her he wouldn't be home for dinner and sat there even longer, listening to some old CDs . After a while he decided to go back and tell Faith, he knew he'd want to know if she was sick and it would kill him if he knew she had been hiding it from him.

Tim walked into the house, it was quiet because Audrey was sleeping over at a friends house and Faith was probably getting ready for bed. He walked upstairs and into the master bedroom, he heard the shower running and considered going in there with her but he wasn't in the mood for that now. Faith was singing their song Love Me to Lie and it tore him apart.
As he got ready for bed he couldn't stop thinking about how to tell Faith and how she'd react. He heard the shower stop and after a while Faith walked into the bedroom singing one of their songs but jumped up as she saw him there.
"Jesus! You scared me." She said smiling. "I've barely seen you all day, where were you?" She walked to him and kissed him softly.
"Just out and about... Listen, baby... Sit down, we need to talk." Tim said with a serious face that scared Faith. She looked at him with a worried face.
"Yeah?" She said biting her lip slightly, something she often did when she got nervous. They both sat down and Tim held her hands.
"There's something I havent been telling you but I should have because you're my wife and we don't hide things from each other... Baby, I was at the doctor's today..." Tim looked at her and saw the tears forming in her eyes, she knew something was wrong. "I started getting headaches a while ago so I decided to go to the doctors and turns out... there's a small tumor in my brain..." He held her hand and saw the hurt in her eyes she was trying to hide. They stayed silent for a while but Faith spoke up. "When did you know?" Tim looked down and rubbed her hand. "Two weeks ago... I should've told you but... I was so scared, I didn't want to believe it..." He said and Faith put her hand on his chin, lifting it up so he'd look at her. "I'm not mad, baby... I would've liked to know but I ain't mad." Faith said and Tim stared at her.
He was confused. He thought she'd get angry at him from hiding this from her, he didn't think she'd take it so well. He snapped out of his thoughts and wrapped his arms around her. "I'm sorry for not telling you but thank you for not getting angry at me." He said and Faith hugged him back tightly. "I know me being angry is the last thing you need... I love you." She said and held back the tears.
She didn't know how to react, didn't know what to do. It's not everyday that the person you love the most gives you this kind of news.
"How bad is it?" She whispered and looked at his face. "Not that bad... I have another appointment next week and the doctor is gonna tell me more then." He said and saw how hard she was trying to hold back the tears. "It's okay to cry, Faith... You can cry..." He said looking into her eyes and soon tears came pouring out of them. She moved to sit on his lap and they wrapped their arms around each other.
"We'll do this together baby, no matter what happens. I'm here for you."
