Faith walked into her bedroom and saw Tim staring out the window, his face was serious and his arms crossed. She walked to him and put her hand on his arm.  "You okay, baby?" She asked and he glanced at her then back out the window, his face still serious. "Yeah, I'm good." He said but Faith could read him like a book, she knew he was lying. "What are you thinking about? Your face is all serious." She said and stood in front of him but he just stared out the window. "Just stuff. I'm alright." He said and pulled her in for a hug. They wrapped their arms around each other but Tim still stared out the window. "Baby, something's wrong and I want you to talk about it." Faith said looking at her husband. He looked down, sighed and walked to the bed and sat down on it. "It's just... I was awful back then. I know that it's all in the past but sometimes I don't understand why you took me back, I'm damn glad you did but sometimes I just don't understand it. I drank a lot and my girls saw me drunk and dead on the floor. I will never forgive myself for that... and the way I treated you... with such disrespect and I neglected you, Faith. You are the greatest thing in my life, you always have been but I still neglected you. I'm so sorry for everything I did, I've apologized a million times now but it'll never be enough for the way I treated you." He said and Faith saw tears in his eyes. She wanted to ask him to stop the whole time but she knew he needed to get it all out so she decided to let him finish before she did anything. She walked over to him and stood in front of him. He looked down and leaned forward. Faith put her hands on his cheeks and made him look at her. She leaned down and kissed his lips softly, he had tears running down his cheeks. "Baby, you know I've forgiven you. I decided a long time ago that this was all behind us. The past is the past. I know you are still sorry for everything you did but it's okay, baby. We are here now, happier than ever." She said and he pulled her closer. She put her knee on one side of him and the other knee on the other side. She sat down on his lap and put her arms around him and hugged him. "Our relationship was fragile one time but we are so strong now, baby. We're stronger than ever. What matters is the way you are now and you are the best man you've ever been." Faith said and Tim kissed her deeply. "I love you more than anything, Faith." He said and Faith wiped his tears. "I love you too, Tim. You're the love of my life." She said and kissed her husband deeply. Tim wrapped his arms around her waist and held her close. They sat there in complete silence, wrapped in each others arms. "Thank you for believing in me and staying by my side." Tim whispered and Faith felt a tear form in her eye.

"Tim, we've had this argument so many times already, I'm not doing this again. You come home in the middle of the night drunk and the girls ask me where daddy is during bedtime stories... What am I supposed to say to them? Huh? Daddy's drunk somewhere with some guys and mommy has no idea where he is or when hes coming back or if he's okay or not. And don't even get me started on when you come back smelling like a whiskey bottle." Faith said with tears streaming down her face. She thanked God that Betty had the girls for the night. "Tim... I hoped and prayed that it wouldn't come to this but... Tim, you need to get sober, if you don't..." Faith's face was all red and puffy, she hated that she had to do this but there was no other way. "If you don't I'm taking the girls and leaving." She said.

Faith blinked back her tears and kept her arms around her husband. " No need to thank me, baby. It's all behind us now." Faith said and kissed his cheek. She closed her eyes and smiled, thankful for the change Tim made, he nor she would be on this Earth anymore if she would've left him. She was so glad that they are so happy now, that's all they've ever wanted.
