It had been about a week and I haven't really been speaking to Jason. It was nothing really but I knew if I spent anymore time with him I would fall flat on my ass for him. I talked to Layla still but Jason had been ignoring me too.

My mom told me to go with her to this gathering at her friends house. I said yes as if I had a choice

I went to pick of my mother she had a baked cake in her hands. "Mom your such a social butterfly already making friends and getting invited to places" I chuckled "you know me" she said and we both laughed.

I was inside and there was a bunch of people but I stayed in the corner. Across the room I saw a really cute guy and I think he caught me staring. He grinned and waved making my cheeks turn bright red. Woah I sure know how to scare a guy away

I found a lady walking around with shots I took one and turned to see if my mom was anywhere close. I saw she wasn't so I drank it

"caught ya" someone said behind me

"you scared me... I thought you were my mom"

"nope it's just me" the guy from earlier told me

"and who are you exactly?"

"well I'm Noah and single you??"

"Well hi Noah I'm violet and I'm not so surprisingly single too" I laughed.

"That's great" he smiled

He was really cute he had the most amazing green eyes, dark brown hair, a sort of slim but muscular body.

We talked the whole time he said his mom forces him to go to all these parties but today it was at his house. I couldn't help but to notice he had some tattoos "how did you manage to get tattoos with our type of parents" I asked "I paid the dude good money and he didn't ask for parents permission. My mom nearly had a heart attack but I just keep getting them. She got tired of screaming so she doesn't even say anything anymore" he explained

"that's nice but what school you go to" I asked "same as yours" he said making me feel stupid for never noticing him.

"I've never seen you" I said "I have but we're always going opposite directions" he said "well I'll be sure to keep an eye for you" I smiled at him. We exchanged numbers and talked some more in the time we had left.

My mom signaled me it was time to leave I sighed "well see you around and maybe send a text"

"Of course bye" he waved

Another week has past since the party and i actually stayed in touch with Noah. We have been hanging out at school ever since the day after.

"Hey" Noah smiled at me as we walked in the hall we stopped by the side of my classroom. He was pressed against the wall and we talked he suddenly pulled me in for a hug. He looked at me with his day dreamy green eyes and kissed me. Right there by the classroom and I'm almost sure I was blushing "sorry I couldn't help myself" he let go "it's okay I should get to class"

"See you at lunch" he smirked and walked away

I didn't even realize Jason was behind us, he looked upset and angered all at once. I did not understand why he has been so cold lately. Like before he didn't talk to me okay but now he gave me mean stares. We sat in our usual seats and he ignored me like he had this whole week.

The teacher told us that we had a project and it had to be with our partner. She gave us instructions and told us to organize ourselves. It was a big part of our grade and I was not about to fail "hey I know you don't want to talk to me for some reason but I'm not failing. So we're working on this and I mean that. WE are working I'm not going to do it all and put your name on it" i said firmly. He scoffed "fine I'll meet you tomorrow I'm busy today and I don't want any problems with your boyfriend"

"You won't have any because he's not my boyfriend...unfortunately" I smirked "oh well bye" he said and walked out of class as the bell rung.

Lunch time came around and I met up with Noah "hey so how's your day so far" I smiled at Him "just boring you know the usual" he sighed "same" I chucked and we hanged by his locker.

"Hey girl I haven't seen you lately" Layla ran up to me "You haven't huh" I smiled "yes so you want to hang out after school and you can bring this cutie if you want" she winked at me making me blush but Noah smirk.

"Yeah sure I'd love that"

"Great it's settled see you then" she waved as she left

Noah eyed her "she has a boyfriend and he's the quarterback good luck separating them" I nudged him

"No it's just she looks familiar and there's no need to separate them I got my eyes on someone else right now" he smirked looking me up and down "well that's good because Conner and her make a cute couple but who's the lucky girl" I smiled "you'll find out soon" he kissed my cheek and left to class.

Well that was strange

After school we went to the mall and it was a good day. Noah went to but he wasn't a bother he would be with us or go to his own stores. I also noticed Layla wouldn't buy anything just look around. I felt bad so I ended up buying her and me something from every store. It was fine since I never really spend my money.
