Chapter 27

Jason

It's been a week since Christmas, New Years passed and it's a new year. I couldn't be happier with the most amazing, beautiful, and kindhearted girlfriend. It was a Sunday the last day before we had to go back to school.

I was laying in my bed all alone without violet,I missed her caressing my face and giving me kisses. I suddenly heard a knock on the door so I got up and put on some sweatpants real quick.

I opened the door and was happily surprised to see my girlfriend standing there. "Hi" she smiled "Hey beautiful" I embraced her in my arms. I let go slowly and took a look at her, "why are you dressed?" I asked.

"We are going out you dumby, I told you yesterday." She said

"Oh right right, it's your dads last day we are going out for breakfast before taking him to the airport" I replied remembering.

"Yeah so get dressed babe" she said getting ready to walk away, I pulled her close to my body "help me" I smirked. She smiled and kissed my cheek "maybe next time"

I rolled my eyes and let her go, she walked away and closed the door. I picked out some black jeans and white T-shirt and a black leather jacket and put on my shoes quickly.

I ran downstairs, then started walking slowly as I approached them I didn't want to look weird.

Violets dad is pretty intimidating, I usually don't care what people think of me but when it came to violets dad, man did I want him to like me. I get so awkward because I don't know how to behave or what way he wants me to behave.

We were at this fancy restaurant I'm pretty sure I was eating everything the wrong way.

Violet smiled at me because she saw I was starting to feel bad and get frustrated. She laid her hand on my upper thigh and whispered "it's okay babe".

"I'm going to go use the restroom" I said and excused myself away. Fuck I did terrible, they're going to hate me damn it. Next thing's I knew I was in the restroom getting more mad.

I heard someone close the door behind me, then I felt arms wrapping around my waist. "It's okay baby you did great" violet said looking at me smiling.

I smiled lightly and caressed her cheek gently "i think I did terrible" I sighed

"No baby my parents love you, they would never judge you for not knowing which spoon to eat with. They had to learn all that themselves." She said as she held my hand tightly "okay okay but you have to help me okay babe" I said feeling a bit better.

Her face lit up "of course baby!"

"But get out I'll meet you outside babe" I pecked her cheek softly and she nodded walking away.

I took a last deep breath before leaving, I felt myself bump into someone ugh.

I saw one of my clients oh god not here. I have been dealing still, violet doesn't know, I do it when I'm not with her.

"Oh I guess it's your lucky day hunter or did you follow me?" the dude asked, he was one of my regular clients but sucked at paying up.

"I followed, you just can't seem to pay up and the boss doesn't like that" I said in a serious voice. "Don't worry hunter just leave, my family is here" he said taking a stack of money and handing it to me.

I took it and he walked into the restroom goddamn it now I have to leave clients can't know about my personal life.

I walked up to the table "hey, I hate to leave but my sister isn't feeling so good so I have to go buy her something. I'm really sorry." I lied.

"Oh don't worry hun, here take the car we'll call our driver to come for us" Violets mom said handing me the keys, I didn't really have a choice but to take it. I couldn't argue I didn't have time.

Violet seemed confused I kissed her cheek lightly and left in a hurry.

Fuck I'm such an idiot, I drove around for a good 2 hours then went to go get gas then I pulled to the side.

I seriously hated everything with a passion, I punched the wheel in anger. I felt myself begin to cry, I hadn't cried in a while, I just couldn't take the pressure anymore.

After a while of my mental breakdown, I drove back to violets home. I went into the house and I couldn't wait to hold my whole heart in my arms.

I went to her room she was sleeping, I crawled into her bed and snuggled up close to her. I held her tightly and kissed her shoulder gently. She started moving and held my hand tightly and kissed it.

"Where were you baby, really?" She said in her sleepy voice "I uh I just had to leave I'm sorry princess" I sighed "I know you're not telling me the truth. But I'm too exhausted to argue with you." She tried to move away but I held onto her tighter "I'm sorry babe, please don't be upset. I promise you it's nothing okay" I said and felt my heartache. I hated lying to her.

"Just go to sleep Jason" she said in her serious disappointed voice "I love you" I kissed her cheek "yeah" she replied. I just left it alone and cuddled her and I soon fell asleep.

I woke up to her trying to escape my arms, "babe" I said in my sleepy morning voice "let me go" she whined. I let her go and she turned to face me "you're annoying" she said as she flicked my nose. "what did I do" I said innocently "ugh you see you're annoying jason" she pouted.

I caressed her face slowly "hey I'm sorry okay, I just wasn't feeling the environment and I left. Also can you stop calling me by my name"

"okay Jason!"

"Stop it" I slapped her butt "mmm" she smiled "you're so cute" I squeezed her butt harder "we should get ready to leave my dad at the airport" she kissed my cheek gently.

I ended up not going because I knew it was a personal moment for Violet and her mom; I just said my goodbyes here. I walked around the house my thoughts taking over whether or not I was worth it for Violet and as my thoughts raced through my head I felt my phone vibrate. I look down at my phone and my heart pounds once I see the name on the screen.
