A salt-peppered afro haired woman walks into the room elegantly as if she was demanding attention from everyone in the room no matter where she was. She is wearing deep purple kneel length dress that had an African pattern in a black cardigan with short formal black heels. Her afro hair pinned into a low bun with a middle parting. She is a perfect embodiment of who I want to be or look like; smart, beautiful and respected. She sits on the chair the opposite side of me and looks me up and down.

"You have your father's nose, dear," She says with the warmest smile on her face

"You have your father's nose, dear," She says with the warmest smile on her face. This can't be her? Can it? I didn't expect someone like her to by my grandmother. She looked so elegant and mature. I guess if I think about it I see some similarities between her and my father.

"Are you my grandmother?" I ask. I wanted to verify it before my mind goes haywire about it.

She chuckles and says,"Yes, I am. I'm Genevenie L/N"

"I wasn't expecting you to be like this. Well...I didn't come here with expectations really." I say hold on to my plaid skirt.

My grandmother stands up and says, "Come with me, Y/N. We should have tea in the garden. Tania, get tea ready."

Tania nods and goes on to her phone to start speaking to someone. I follow my grandmother into the back garden. It was beautiful, there were vibrant colour flowers with lush green grass and a small pond. She leads me to the white table and chairs which were full of different sweets and savouries. We both sit down, a butler comes and pours tea into cups.

" Have you ever heard of father's full name (including middle names)?" she says.

It sounds very familiar but I am not really sure and I say, "Maybe"

"Father's full name was your father and he was the prince of- well once ruling as King of Sheonia," My grandmother seriously says.

what????!!!
