_____
She quietly stared at herself dressed in white chemise slip through the mirror and then passively stared at the wedding dress that laid on the chair. There she was, with her dark hair in (updo/afro) and a heartfelt smile that couldn't leave her face. Leah never thought she could get here and sometimes she felt guilty.
The many lost lives of innocent children from the war, yet she lived and was happy. The war could never be erased from the minds of the living victims and its impact will live on in wizardry history. The bridesmaids, Hermione and Angelica were getting ready in a corresponding room. A familiar masculine voice broke her stream of thoughts.
"Leah..." She walked towards the door and she placed her left hand on the doorknob tempted to open it.
"Huh...Harry?" She asked quietly.
"Leah?"
"Harry, you shouldn't be here." Leah could hear him slumped on the other side and feel the pressure of him being supported by the door.
"I know I know, it's bad luck to see you but I...I just need to talk to you."
Leah sat floor and her back leaning on the door. She said, "I'm listening."
Harry said, "I know I shouldn't but I can't help but feel...guilty about how happy I feel."
"I feel the same but we need to remember we have helped others as well. Harry, you have saved so many people and have lost so much," said Leah as she played with her fingers to distract from persistent thoughts.
"Yeah...," Harry said weakly.
"From your parents, Sirus to Lupin, you've paid the price and you continue to choose to do more for others," Leah cheerfully said. "So I don't want you to feel guilty for any shred of happiness you ever have because you might not believe it, but you deserve it."
He whispered, "I love you."
"I love you too."
Everyone that Harry and Leah loved and fond memories with, stared at Leah in her white gown as she walked down the aisle. Hagrid's loud muffled cries that could be heard over the music playing while Professor McGonagall tried to comfort him. Mrs Wealesy lightly crying as her husband, Mr Wealsey hugged her. Leah focused heavily on not falling and tripping on her dress' tail.
Leah looked up and saw Harry's bright emerald eyes sparkled contrasting the guilt he had just thirty minutes earlier. Her translucent veil hung like curtains are her face. Warm light glistened from her dark complexion like a shining pearl effortlessly exhibiting beauty and elegance. Leah couldn't remember how she walked to the altar and ended up holding hands with Harry.
"I'm shaking," whispered Leah and Harry smiled wider. He gripped her hand tighter in hopes of soothing Leah. The whole ceremony was nothing but a display of love with a small audience of people who loved and supported them.
The heat between them kept increasing. Harry left soft kisses on her neck as he gripped her waist tightly. His other hand caressing her body through the red lace of her lingerie. This wasn't their first time making love with each other, however, this night felt different to the past nights.
Harry pulled away and unbuckled his black leather belt. He pulled off his dark dress pants. Leah reached out and caressed his lighting bot scar moved down to his jawline. She moved forward and left butterfly kisses over his face. Leah whispered into his ear, "I love you so much."
One Year Later...
Pregnancy was not in the plan for at least a couple years for the young married couple. Leah loved her job and helping others especially stopping the dark wizards. Leah has only worked as an Auror for two years and she knew that she was going to have to step back for some time. She loved kids and wanted to keep the child that laid in her womb.
Harry needed to know and Leah needed to tell him. Fortunately, Harry is very clueless and cannot pick up anything unless it is thrown at his face. The clock rang as Harry appeared in the Floo Pit and emerald flames flickered around him. Harry said, "Leah, Ron invited us over for dinner."
"Yeah, I'm up for it," Leah said, seeming distant. Harry pulled his jacket off and walked into the living room. Leah was sat on the couch passively watched the television then turned her head towards him. Harry sat next to her and Leah kissed his cheek, "How was your day?"
"Mostly paperwork."
"Harry, I'm pregnant," Leah blurted out without a second thought. Harry went blank. "I know it wasn't planned but you're going to be an amazing family. Voldemort is gone so there's no fear and we both have good jobs. We have money saved and a house."
Harry pulled Leah into a loving embrace and his head was in the nook of her neck. Leah didn't say anything but she could feel wet tears and just held him tighter. Harry finally gets the family, he wanted.
