A/N: THIS IS SET WHEN THEY WERE IN AUSTRALIA FOR THE TMH TOUR. I KNOW, I'M BEHIND. STORY OF MY LIFE VIDEO HASN'T BEEN RELEASED AND ANYTHING AFTER THAT HASN'T HAPPENED EITHER

Ashley's P.O.V

Once they're gone, I go into Zayn's room and open up my laptop. There's a new feature on the Target website that enables you to place an order online and pick it up at the nearest store. I select few pairs of jeans, a jacket, some shirts, some exercise clothes, a few pairs of shoes and several pairs of bras and underwear, inclduing some... se.x.y stuff.

I fill out all the information for a Click and Collect order, and close my laptop and slide on my thongs. The closest store is a twenty minute walk there are back, I won't be long. I slide some money, my phone, and the keycard Liam gave me into my pocket and walk out the door, noting the pile of keycards for all the other rooms they rented on the table.

The amount of people out the front of the hotel surprises me, the boys only arrived this morning. Two tall, imposing men approach me and instinctively I go into attack position.

"Miss Payne? Liam asked us to go with you." says the shorter, but more muscled of the two. I sigh in relief and stand up straight again.

"Really? Um, cool. Thanks. How do we, y'know, get out? Can you say a magic word or something?" I'm babbling, something I do when I'm nervous but not totally in awe and tongue-tied, like when I met Liam. They exchange looks and laugh a little.

"'Fraid not, but we can get a car to come 'round the back to pick us up. What stores do you want to go to?" he asks. It's a little awkward how I still don't know either of their names. Also, why hasn't the tall one said any words.

"I set up a click and collect order at the nearest Target, so we just need to go there, pick up the stuff and come back." I explain. "Also, what are you guys' names? I'm Ashley, but I'm pretty sure you knew that already."

The taller one finally speaks up. "I'm Preston, and this is Carl."

"Nice to meet you. How-"

"We should go now, people are starting to look at you." Preston says. At first I'm confused by this, but then I recognize a few girls that I've met as 12-year-old Ashley and they're looking at me and their phones, confused. They must see a resemblance between young me and present me. I nod at Preston and Carl.

"Yeah, yeah, let's go." I say. They lead the way through a series of doors, all of which have a 'Staff Only' sign and requires them to tap in a code. Eventually we're in an alley, where an indescript grey BMW is waiting for us. The two bodyguards flank my sides as we get into the car and the driver backs out of the alleyway.

It's madness, absolute madness out the front of the hotel. Hoards of girls are screaming and clawing at each other, trying to fight their way to the glass doors to catch a glimpse of the boys.

"Insane." Carl remarks, as we back onto the main road and the driver sets the GPS address to the nearest Target.

"Not the worst though." Preston responds. Yeah, that's true, the bulk of directioners live in the UK, not Australia.

"Is it worse when they're in public, or not?" I finally speak. He shrugs.

"Depends, if they're just going out and no-one knows where they are, then we just get a few girls asking for photos. If our location gets out on Twitter then we get mobbed and it's absolutely awful for the guys."

I mull that over for a seconds. "I've seen it, but I could never even comprehend it. I've only ever been stopped by twenty people at one time."

"How come?" he asks. "No offense, or anything."
