Third person p.o.v

Everyone surrounding stoped and sucked in a surprised breath, including the Alpha. How could the dirty Rogue in front of them be the Alphas mate. She continues to growl defensively towards everyone and stands in front of the child possessively, as if protecting it from harm. The alpha begins to take cautious steps towards the she wolf and the child she protects, His face shows the confusion he feels. This she wolf ignores the power he projects, despite the two being mates, he has a feeling she still wouldn't stand down. Continuing with his cautious steps her growl becomes louder, more dangerous, not just a warning now. She lunges as he comes within striking distance and he quickly snatches his hand back before she can bite. He grunts and holds back a growl, surprised that his own mate would attempt to cause such significant damage.

"Stop!" comes Chelseas small voice directed towards the Alpha, telling him what to do, she is not scared though he could easily kill her with one blow.

Chelsea turns to the cautious rogue next to her and stokes its fur, her father, the beta moves to run forward and collect his daughter before the rogue can hurt her, little does he know the little girl has gained the respect of the rogue and will not be harmed. Before he takes another step the alpha stops him "She will not hurt Chelsea. She is protecting her" he points out observantly. The beta stops reluctantly, still worried for his daughters safety. Eyes still watery the girls looks into the rogues eyes "Please don't hurt them. They are my family" She says sadly looking over to the beta and the wolves standing around him ready to fight for the little girl. The rogue reluctantly sits down, a sign of surrender, something she never thought she would be doing again. The pack is shocked at the action, not knowing what to do.

"Shift" The alpha, her mate commands not knowing how to feel or act. His mate either does not seem to feel the pull or is choosing to ignore it somehow. The mate pull is strong and to resist it takes significant effort. She does not move a muscle, maintaining eye contact.

"She does not shift alpha, we attempted to make her when we captured her. She broke out of the silver chains and refused to eat for weeks" The beta said. Noticing the look in the alphas eyes he quickly adds "We did not touch or harm her"

"Leave." He says using his alpha command on the surrounding wolves. Only his ranking wolves left behind. "We will not hurt you mate." he says trying to reassure her.  The alpha looks to the girl knowing this may be the only way to get the rogue to comply to his wishes "Chelsea, can you try to lead her to the pack house?"

Chelsea begins to walk, her stomach is still scratched and movement agitates the wounds. Just as she is about to fall forward the rouge moves forward and with her head helps the child stand up and walk. The rogue looks directly into the alphas eyes as she helps the child past, a sign of disrespect. She feels the wind blow through her fur and the sent of the alpha behind is caught in her nose, he smell's strongly of the wilderness, of the grass she loves and the trees that sway with the wind. Dazed slightly she shakes it off, not letting herself be compelled by this man and not understanding the feelings he gives her, she knows never to trust powerful men and him being an alpha is something she must be cautious of.

After a few minutes of walking they  stop a few meters from a tall building it looks beautiful, windows cover most of it and a porch wraps around. As Chelsea stops the rogue thinks this must be the destination the man was talking about. The rogue turns around and takes a few moments to assess the wolves that followed behind. The alpha, is tall about 6"5" easily one of the largest males she had seen, he has dark hair and muscles bulging through his clothes with tattoos down the length of his arms, a threat she thought. Then the beta who was slightly shorter with light blonde hair and a round face. There were two more wolves another male who was even shorter than the beta but made up for it in muscle he had a bald head. Then the last was a girl, she had red hair, hair the rogue had never seen before and was slightly intrigued.

They had caught up to the two and the alpha made slow movements to come towards them. "I will not hurt you, I won't touch you." He said gradually moving towards Chelsea, he made it to her and put a hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay?" He asks, She nods her head and says a quiet yes. He moves to untie the rope from Chelseas hand and the rogue growls lowly. "I have to untie her and get her help for the wounds." He paused to explain and continued to untie it while she watched still growling in warning to not hurt the child, as she was different, only wanting to help the rogue with no benefit to herself. When untied the alpha held firmly onto the rope and sent the girl to her father who picked her up.

Without command or question the rest of the wolves left to enter the building. The alpha and the rogue were alone. Without hesitation she pulls hard against the rope, the spikes poking into her neck. He held on as hard as he could and didn't move a muscle, he couldn't calm her because she would bite him if he touched her. After a few minutes of her futile attempts for escape she stops, breath puffing air through her nose roughly.

They make eye contact, silently looking at one another. "Are you done?" he asks in a sarcastic growl. She doesn't respond.

"I won't touch you, but I cannot let you go until I trust you. We are mates and you need to stay in my pack. Lets go" He says seriously, acting like more of a alpha then a mate. As he tugs her at the rope, first she resists but with no other option she follows. They leave a significant distance between one another, the alpha cautious to avoid an attack at random and the head towards the house. Once the she wolf notices where they are going she struggles again but this time more frantic, out of fear and she twists around, the rope getting tangled in the alphas hand. The spikes poke into her harder. The alpha pulls the rope and with one big tug she topples to the ground, the only way he could get her to stop hurting herself, an injured mate was not something he wanted to deal with.

He looks down to her. "You don't like the inside?" he asks curiously knowing he won't get an answer. "You have to come to the porch so you wont get wet" He says. With no chance of escape she complies. Her nails click against the wood flooring and she is cautious, the alpha ties the rope against the pole next to the steps, restraining her. She looks towards the knot, longing for freedom and lets out a quiet whine thinking that he could not hear, he glances back over to her as he walks inside to collect blankets and returns to create a makeshift bed.

Days pass with the rogue tied to the porch, the alpha comes everyday to feed her. He sets the bowl down next to her and she accepts the food, now knowing it isn't a trap after Chelsea had cared for her. She figures this pack doesn't want to hurt her but may have other motives, she is confused, not understanding why they won't let her go. After finishing her bowl she notices the alpha still standing next to her, he reaches down carefully cautious of the wild rogue. She growls menacingly and he looks so far into her eyes she thinks he can see her soul "Trust me" he says and she stops growling, giving him enough time to slip the collar off her head.
