-The Davenport's-

Leo's POV:

Well, these last three weeks have been an absolute nightmare. The whole family is ignoring each other, Delta comes around, but not often, and Zadie is rarely seen. Usually, we only see her at school. I'm pretty sure her and Chase are 'on a break', but to be honest, I'm not exactly sure what's going on between them. I mean, them not being together has just made everything way worse. Since Zadie isn't around, Delta is quieter and a little more boring. Those two are two halves of a whole idiot, but also my best friends.

Currently, I was sitting in between Chase and Adam and Delta on the couch. Delta was scrolling through her phone, Adam was asleep, and Chase was geeking out over his nerd show.

"Yes! Yes! Oh, I love the international spelling bee!" Chase exclaimed. Okay, he was a lot more cooler when he was with Zadie. "That last word had four Z's in it!"

"You know what else has a Z in it? Zadie! You should call her." I handed his phone, seeing an opportunity. I received a glare in return.

"Leo, I told you. Zadie and I aren't on speaking terms right now."

"Yeah, that's why you should call her." I held his phone closer to him. "Come on, it's been three weeks. You guys at least need to talk."

"Mhm, she's been torturing herself the whole time, too." Delta added.

"Listen, Zadie and I will talk when we're ready to. Until then, you two need to stay out of it." He calmly snapped.

"Sheesh. Just for the record, you were a lot less annoying with Zadie." Delta mumbled.

"Leo, tell Chase nerd hour is over." Adam said. "My home renovation show is on. The Piscarellis are turning their dead space into a powder room!"

"Chase, Adam wants to watch TV." I simplified it. "Apparently, the Italians are putting in a toilet."

"Well, you can tell Adam that he should have gotten here first."

"He's not changing it." I turned back to Adam.

"Tell Chase if he doesn't give me the remote, he's gonna get punched."

"Chase?" I turned my head.

"Not happening."

"He said-" I started, but ended up being punched. "Ow!!"

"Adam!" Delta scolded, hitting his arm.

"What was that for?!"

"I'm sorry! I got confused. I thought you were Chase!" He explained. "Can you punch him for me?"

"That is it!" I stood up. "You guys haven't talked for weeks! You can break up the team, but you are not breaking up my family." I cooled down. "Alright, this is when you hug it out, and you say 'yeah, Leo, you're right! You're always right'!" There was a silence. "Isn't that what you say?"

Big D then walked into the room, followed closely behind by Bree. "Hey, uh, Mr. Davenport, can I have fifty dollars? I want to buy a bathing suit for my spring break trip to Hawaii with Zadie and Delta." She showed him a catalog.

"Oh, sure, yeah. Can you get me one, too?" He began pulling out his wallet. "Ask the salesperson for a 'man-kini'. They'll tell ya they don't exist, but trust me, they do." There was an awkward pause. "You know what, I'll get my own."

"Hold on, she's going to Hawaii?" Chase asked. "I asked if I could go on an astronomy cruise, and you said no."

"Yeah, but that was before you quit the team. Now that you've completely gutted my greatest achievement," Big D patted the side of his face. "I don't care what you do."
