32 - I Take An Oath

I take an oath,
To be by your side,
No matter what,
What arise,

I might not,
Not be the best,
You might have me,
Treat me like the rest,

But I will still care,
Still not forget,
How much I loved you,
A love, I won't regret,

I took an oath,
Oath to be happy,
Even if when you are around,
I get flappy,

You will never lose the power,
Power to lighten my day,
Even in the worst of times,
Your smile will take me away,

You know I can laugh,
I laugh a lot,
But you also know,
When, it's not,
Not a real laugh,
Not a real smile,
I laugh to pretend,
That I am worth a while,

I took an oath to be happy,
For your sake I will,
I will always keep my oath,
Even when it kills,
It kills to see you leave,
I die everyday,
But it's not important for me to be happy,
'Cause my happiness is to see yours anyway,

I take an oath to be,
By your side even if you don't,
You don't want me,
'Cause I know you won't,
You won't regret me,
Even if I feel,
I am the worst person,
My smile used to heal,
Heal you from inside,
Until the day came when,
When you realise my worth,
At least I gave all I could,

So I don't regret it,
'Cause you are my history,
A story to remember,
What my fault was is still a mystery,

But I will still love you,
'Cause I am the person,
Who does not, break an oath,
As I don't do treason,

So one day, when you break again,
Just turn back, and you will find me,
Smiling like I promised, and waiting,
Waiting for you to be with me,

It might never happen,
I might never succeed,
But I will be happy,
To persue you, if I proceed,

You became my happiness,
The day you told,
"I love you no matter",
When my hands you holded,
With that mesmerizing stare,
Like nothing else mattered,

I am happy, and you are happy,
Everything is okay, the story untold,
I won't say it, it will be s mystery,
Until you want it to unfold,
And bring rise to the history,
And let me know, what's my fault,
Was I too much,
Did I push you to halt!

Or was I too bad
And meant too little,
Too worthless to be,
Anything at all,

At least I, for once,
Kept my oath,
And with this, I can die,
With a happily ever after,
With no need for,
Fairy tales to arise...
