MOTHER, who plays so many roles,
Who has the purest of souls,
A person who gives and never takes anything in return,
Who loves even when she gets hurt inturn,
Children, are a complicated creature,
whose true color can only be seen by their mother,
Sometimes they may not seem to understand,
But still mothers will take it all, withstand,
To make sure their child won't go wrong,
They will stand tall, rock hard and strong,
I don't think any child can understand their mother,
Or any adult for that matter,
Until they are guided by their only support,
Their mother to the rescue, without any effort,
The mother is the one, who sees through it all,
She smells the trouble before it can make us fall,
A mother's the one, who stands by your side,
Even when you're wrong, they would let it slide,
Our mothers make us who we are,
She struggles and fights, without a tear,
We never know what she goes through,
To give us everything she thinks we deserve,
As children, we must understand,
That as we grow mature they get older, more like a child,
And so we must give them everything we've got,
Now it's our turn to give our all, to take a shot,
To return the favor as much as we can,
To serve our priceless gem, our Number one fan,
Her love and kindness won't be easy to match,
We'll easily get breathless, easily get scratched,
But we've to return the act of altruism she does for us,
Even now she wouldn't do anything less,
But we need to try to make them happy,
Even if our efforts feel wasted and we get snappy,
We need to give our all, give what we've got,
Just like we've learned, we were taught,
Once in a while you must make her realize,
How she's the backbone of your life,
'Cause there are people who pray for one last chance,
To say their precious angel, "I love you Mom", without pretense...
