Not Helping Aphrodite

Chapter 11

Percy/Penny pov

I heard my alarm go off so I turned it off. It said it was five in the morning. So I knew everyone was asleep and the harpies would have finished their rounds. As I got out of bed I realized just how different I felt. For one I had weight on my chest, two I had nothing between my legs. And three I also felt a little off balance. I was unsure weather or not that was because of what  Aphrodite and Piper said or it was just me. Anyway I got dress in blue knickers, bra, t-shirt and shorts. 

Once dress i left my cabin leaving riptide behind. I walked into the woods and walk along way to the mortal road.  That's when I look down at myself and realized I needed to get a little more bloody and a lot more muddy. Looking around I saw a puddle on the side of the road so I walked over to it making sure no cars were round as i dropped to knees in front of it.  Once I was covered in mud I look round again and saw there was some rough stones. I pick them up and grazed my elbows and knees. After that stage I knew I looked ready to fall over the boundary but I had to wait another hour at least. So I walked through the cornfields getting more scratched up. 

After an hour I realized  everyone would be starting to heading for breakfast in about five minutes. walking back it took me nearly ten minutes. When i reached the top of Half-Blood hill. I let out a scream and pretended to faint. With my eyes shut I couldn't be hundred percent was sure what was happening around me but I was sure I heard people running around me and making sure i was okay.

'I think she's okay. Just a few bruises and scrapes.' I heard one Will Solace son of Apollo said. 

'Okay then so she fainted from dehydration and exhaustion?' Jason asked. 

'Most likely.' Will replied. 

At that moment I just let my eyes flutter open. 

'W-what? Where am I?' I asked pretending to be confused and frightened. 

Switch pov to Jason 

I looked this girl in confusion. Who was she? Where did she came from? How old is she? 

Then her eyes opened. And I saw the most beautiful and unique blue-greenish eyes.

  'W-what? Where am I?' She asked. Oh her voice it was like sweet honey on pancakes. 'Who are you all?' 

'It's okay you're safe now.' Will said. 

'Safe?' the girl asked. 'Safe from what?'  

'You will find soon enough.' Chiron said.

'Find out what?' The girl asked, she unsure and frightened.

'What's your name?'  I said just to try distract her.

'Penny.' She said simply.

'Penny. Is that it?' I asked feeling that couldn't just be her name.

'Persephone.' She said. 'My name is Persephone Diana Jackson.'

That name didn't seem to compute in my head. Persephone is Greek, Diana is Roman and Jackson. Could it mean she was related to Percy.

'Jackson?' Will asked voicing my thought. 'It's so common name but you happen to know a boy called Perseus Jackson?'

'Um ... no I don't think so. Why?'  Persephone asked looking confused.

'It doesn't matter at the minute. Come on let's get you up and fed. I'm sure you're hungry.' I smiled thinking I don't want to put too much pressure on the new girl in  one go.

'Okay thank you.' She smiled and I couldn't help but think that her smile was gorgeous. Wait what?! What am I thinking I love Piper. Why would I thing some of the girl is pretty.

I lead to the dining pavilion and settle she down with me before Chiron could directed to the Hermes cabin.

'Do you like anything Persephone?' I asked.

  'Just a fruit salad with blueberries and pomegranate seeds would be nice.' Persephone said looking thoughtful and I thought she was even cuter then when she was smiled. 'And please call me Penny.'

Switch pov to Nico.

A new camper that's cool. I didn't speed  too much of a glance when she was on the floor. It didn't really interest me but now she's eating with Jason I have a better view of her.

She has long wavy black hair nearly to her waist, a cute button nose and nice bow shaped lips as far as girls go I suppose.

She chose that moment to look up and looked straight at me and I saw the exact same eyes as Percy and that make me do a double take.

It clear to me that she lying about not knowing who Percy was. But I can't go and interrogate her now. I'll just have to take my time, maybe get to know her then ask question.
