"Sirius!" I shout, bursting into the Shrieking Shack, but he wasn't there. I called his name some more, wandering around the shack before finding a note:

I've left to go find Peter Pettigrew, I caught him running off for Hagrid's hut.

-Sirius

I sigh, of course. Not knowing what else to do, I drop off my bag of stuff and wait. I can't really do much else but wait. Even if I did leave, would I find Sirius in time? I don't know what's going to happen, but I do know for sure that something is going to happen. Something big. First what I saw in the orb, in Trelawney's exam, then what I apparently told Hermione, the prediction.

I continue to think about what's been going on. If the Minister for Magic is here, himself, for this execution, Sirius really shouldn't be running around looking for Pettigrew, the risk is too high for him.

Then it seems to click. Sirius is probably going to be caught, and the Hippogriff? Buckbeak? I doubt he's going to die. Somehow, they're both going to escape. That has to be what my earlier prediction meant, what I saw in the orb.

Unable to stand sitting down in the Shrieking Shack for too much longer, I leave, turning into a fox and leaving the passage. I wander around a bit when I see a glimpse of someone's feet. No, not one person, 2, maybe 3. Then I see Ron appearing out of nowhere, struggling to hold Scabbers. The Invisibility Cloak.

Then I watch as Sirius, as a dog, bounds out of the forest, leaping at Harry, knocking him over and then grabbing Ron (and Pettigrew), by Ron's legs and dragging him back towards the Whomping Willow.

What the hell, Sirius!! I scream in my thoughts, racing after him as he drags Ron into the tunnel. I follow after them. Ron was shouting in pain. Eventually, we both reached the Shrieking Shack. I immediately turn back into a Human, as Sirius lets go of Ron's leg. Scabbers was shrieking inside of Ron's robes.

"Ron, are you okay?" I ask, urgently,

He was still whimpering, his leg bent at an unnatural angle. "What do you mean 'am I okay?'" He says, thoroughly panicking, "I was just attacked by a dog! I broke my leg and-"

Just then, Sirius turned back into a human.

"Oh my god..." Ron says, panicking even more, "Oh my god it's Sirius Black."

Taking matters into my own hands, I begin dragging Ron towards my bed, upstairs. Sirius just kind of watches, guiltily.

"Are you gonna help me or not?" I ask Sirius,

"Right." Sirius comes immediately and we both pick up Ron, who's still whimpering, and drop him onto my bed. "Where is he?" he asks threateningly, I sigh, exasperatedly,

Just then Harry and Hermione bound upstairs. Crookshanks following after them, jumping up on the bed. I step out of the way a bit.

"Ron — are you okay?!"

"Where's the dog"

"Not a dog, Ron moaned, "Harry, it's a trap—"

"What—"

"He's the dog... he's an animagus ..."

Ron was staring at the corner, where Sirius stood.

"Expelliarmus!" Sirius shouted, Harry and Hermione's wands shot out of their wands, Sirius's eyes locked with Harry's

"Come on, was that neccisar-" I start, standing in between Sirius and Harry

"I thought you'd come and help your friend." Sirius continued, cutting me off, "Your father would have done the same for me. Brave of you, not to run for a teacher. I'm grateful... it will make everything much easier."
