Chapter One: Bully

Katara's POV

I grab my books out of my locker and slam it shut.

Azula is a bitch. Excuse my french. But seriously her, Mai, and Ty Lee are starting to get on my nerves.. They get away with the bullying because Azula's dad is the principal. What a load of bullshit.

"Hey Katara-" I hear someone. I jump.

"Oh, sorry." I hear the boy's voice speak.

I turn around and Aang stands there, with a face of concern.

"Are you okay, Kat?" He asks.

"Yeah I'm fine. What do you need?"

"Dating advice." He says.

"Straight to the point, eh? Fine, I will give you advice just know I don't have any experience. Now, who is it? " I ask.

"Toph." He says.

"Isn't that girl blind?" I ask, curiosity killing me.

"Not completely. " He states.

A/n before you guys say that shes completely blind, i know. Shes not an earthbender so in order to make this work i had to make her be able to see. Bye.

"Okay. You want advice, I'll give it to you. Be yourself. If she doesn't like you for who you are then she's not the one." I say, remembering something I read in the romance novels.

"Are you sure?" He asks. Man, he must like her....

"Im positive." I say.

"Thanks Katara. I owe you one." He says as he starts to walk away when I notice Sokka had appeared out of nowhere.

"What is he so happy about?" He says.

"I gave him advice on how to ask out Toph." I answer.

"So he likes being called twinkle toes? If thats what love became then love is weird." He says.

"You don't have the room to talk. You have F's in all your classes because you stare at Suki the whole time, who has a boyfriend, might I mention."

"Whatever. Does Aang have dance after school? Which is weird for him. Is that why his nickname is twinkle toes? Isn't toph in dance with him?" Sokka asks.

What is this? Twenty questions?

"Yes. Yes. And yes. Also, ballet isn't weird. It helps him be balanced." I say. "Also next time you want to play twenty questions go find Suki. Maybe you'll find stuff out."

"Ha. Ha. Whatever. See you on the bus." He says.

"Bye big brother." I say.

He waves.

I start walking toward class but not too soon Hahn starts to come near me. I slowly walk away and take a detour to my last class. With no one in site he can advance on me without anyone seeing. I hear his footsteps so I walk faster. The footsteps are coming closer so I run. The one thing I'm really good at.

I think I'm going to make it. I turn the corner and Azula grabs me. I stomp on her foot and she let go of me. I start running again but because of Azula, he has me in his hands.

Punch to the side. Another and another and another until I collapse from too much pain. He starts kicking and Azula joins in. I get stuck at looking at their ankles.

I wonder....

I might get a worse beating but I'm going to try it. I grab their ankles that they were putting all their weight on, pulling them, causing them to fall. I gather my stuff and run. Well try to anyway.
