She rolled off the cold marble slab, landing to the floor with a dull thunk. She was shaking, both from the cold and shock of her creation. She pulled her knees to her chest and took in the terrifying sight around her. A narrow bridge stretched out in front of her, and behind her she could feel the heat radiating from the core of Mt.Doom. From outside of the chamber she could hear horrid sounds; screams, howls, metal against metal, great earth shaking booms. Unbeknownst to her, these were the sounds of war. Outside Mt.Doom a last alliance of elves and men fought against the dark lord Sauron to preserve freedom in middle earth. Slowly, she crawled across the bridge. She had to escape this horrid place.

Ten years later
On a quiet and crisp Autumn day, a cloaked stranger atop a chestnut stallion crossed the boundaries into the woodland realm, ruled by the great king Thranduil. The guards at the borders made no move to attack, but kept their elven eyes trained on the figure. It was no crime to travel along the roads through the forest, but the cloaked rider did not seem to be an average traveler. Virion, the captain of the Southern guard, signaled for three of his soldiers to accompany him as he followed the traveller.
As they followed her, she veered from the road, and instead headed in the direction of the king's palace. At this point the guards intervened. From the trees, they dropped in front of her with their bows drawn.
"Halt. In the name of King Thranduil of the woodland realm, I ask who goes there," Virion said, speaking in the common tongue.
The rider dismounted gracefully, then pulled down their hood. The woodland guards looked at each other, disarmed by the strangers shocking appearance. Her skin was dark yet, it glittered in the sun. Her eyes were a piercing red and her black hair shown garnet in the sun's light. She smiled, showing her perfectly white teeth.
"Hello kind elves of the woodland realm. I am simply a traveler of middle earth," the woman spoke, smiling all the while.
After a moment of shock, the elves regained their composure.
"What business have you leaving the main roads?" asked Virion.
"I wish to see the great hall of the King Thranduil of course."
The guards tensed.
"The king does not allow simple vagabonds into his halls. Please return to the roads and leave the realm promptly," Virion said.
The strange woman laughed.
"Do you think I haven't anything to offer the great king?"
The woman pressed her hands together, and when she pulled them apart, a stream of fire was between them. She moved her hands in contrary motion, slowly spinning the fire into a small tornado. Then as soon as the fire appeared, it was gone.
The elves hadn't a clue what to make of the display. Never had they seen magic of this sort.
"Who are you?"
She smiled again. Her ruby eyes twinkled.
"My name is Naur. Will you please allow me to see your king?"
