When we finished eating, we got back in the van. I sat next to Elsa and put an arm around her. This time Kristoff didn't drive like a drunken 5 year old. He dropped off Merida, then Hiccup, Flynn, then Rapunzel. When he dropped off Elsa and Anna, we walked them to their door. Kristoff gave Anna a swift kiss on the cheek and went back to the van.
"Bye Jack!" Anna waved and she went inside the house. I looked at Elsa and smiled.
"See you later." I said, pulling her into a hug. She smiled and hugged me back.
"Thanks for not telling." I said into her hair.
"I just figured you wouldn't want them to know your secret." She shrugged. I pulled back and looked at her.
"Secret?" I asked. She rolled her eyes.
"Come on, Frost! I know this tough guy thing is an act. A wall to protect yourself from getting hurt." She said gently.
"How do you know, is it that easy to tell?" I asked. She gave me a small smile and shook her head.
"I used to do the same thing. But then I found my friends, and look how I turned out." She said, grabbing my hands and holding them up between us. "Don't worry, you have wonderful friends that will help you get through anything." She said. I pulled her into a tight hug.
"Thank you." I whispered. She responded by kissing me on the cheek. I blushed. Kristoff honked the horn of the van.
"Come on, love birds! It's getting late!" He called. We blushed and she opened the door.
"About our date," I said. She looked worried.
"W-what about it?" She asked nervously.
"Pick you up at 8am Saturday." I said with a wink. She visibly rekaxed but then stiffened.
"Am?" She asked.
"Yep! You don't have a problem with motorcycles, do you?" I asked. She smirked.
"That's like asking if I have a problem with breathing." She said.
"Good." I said and made my way down her porch steps. I hopped in the passenger seat and Kristoff drove me home.
^^The Next Day Before First Period^^
I was waiting for Elsa to get her things at her locker when Lizzie walked up to me, oblivious to Elsas presence.
"Hey, Jack." She said seductively, leaning against the lockers in what I'm guessing was sapposed to be a sexy way but turned out akward.
"Hi." I said simply.
"I'm having a party on Saturday, you're welcome to come if you want." She said. I noticed Elsa tense up. Did she really think I would blow her off for a girl like Lizzie?
"Actually," I said, "I have a hot date on Saturday. Maybe another time?" I said, giving her a smirk. Lizzie looked fuming.
"Who is this 'hot date?'" She asked, making finger air quotes. Elsa came from behind her locker door, slamming it shut.
"Me." She said defiantly while moving next to me. Lizzie was red with anger.
"Whatever! Just know that I'll be waiting for you when you realize what a total loser she is!" She snapped. She got up and hooked her arm around some random guy and walked off with him.
"Slut." I muttered before turning back to Elsa. She looked hurt.
"Hey," I said gently, "don't let her get to you. She's just jelous." I said. She gave me a weak smile. I grabbed her hand and we walked together to our first period class.
