^^Elsa POV^^
The rest of the day went by too slowly in my opinion. I wanted, no, needed Jack to tell me why he didn't want Hailey or anyone else to know about us. Us, I like the sound of that. When school finally ended, I met Jack in the school parking lot where he was standing next to his blue Nighthawk 750. I marched up to him and crossed my arms in front of me.
"Explain," I demanded, realizing I sounded like a Dalek but not having time to laugh at myself. "Right now!" I added to make my point clear.
"Okay, I will. Just, not here." he said and scanned the parking lot until his eyes landed on something that made his eyes grow wide. He jumped on his bike and started the engine. "Hop on!" he said and for whatever reason I obliged. I slid onto the motorcycle And wrapped my arms around his torso. He revved the engine and sped out of the parking lot. I suddenly realized that we were leaving the suburb.
"I need to call my parents," I told Jack when we reached a red light.
"Already did, they're fine with it as long as I bring you home at a reasonable hour, now hold on." he said as the light turned green. I did as he instructed and soon we were on the move.
A while later we arrived at a small park with a big field next to it that housed a single oak tree. He parked his bike and we got off. He led me to the tree where he sat down at the base of the tree, He motioned for me to join him and I did. I sat down across from him and he moved to grab my hand but I jerked back.
"Explain," I said and he nodded.
"Okay, here it goes. Hailey, is crazy." He said and looked like that was all he was going to say.
"That's it? My relationship is on the line and the only explination I get is half of a sentence?" I demanded angrily. Jack flinched at my harsh tone.
"Well, I wouldn't say that our relationships on the line, but-" he started but I cut him off.
"It is if you can't give me a good explanation for your behavior!" I snapped and he nodded.
"Okay, your right. Let me start from the beginning." he said and I nodded, finally satisfied with the words coming out of his mouth.
^^Flashback to 6th Grade- Jack POV^^
I was sitting at a lunch table with my best friends Roddy, Rita, and Sid.[Hugs to anyone who knows what movie their from!!] It was just an ordinary day until in the middle of lunch someone yelled, "HAILEY STEWART LIKES JACK FROST!" loud enough for the whole grade to hear. My face instantly reddened and my friends all snickered at me.
"Why so red in the face, Jackie boy?" Rita teased and I shot her a glare. The truth was That I had a huge crush on Hailey and she was probably the only one who didn't know. I had first confided in my friends and then a day later the whole grade knew. Well, besides Hailey. So finding this out gave me mixed feelings.
"You have to ask her out! You already know she'll say yes, so go for it!" Roddy said and pointed at the table where she was sitting, currently mouthing off the person who yelled her secret.
"What if I don't want to?" I said defiantly And they all gave me a look. "Alright, I want to. But what if she says no?" I said, my pessimist side coming out. Rita rolled her eyes and stood up.
"Fine then. I'll do it for you," she said and marched to Hailey's table. I desperately wanted to stop her but I wasn't able to move. I watched as Rita tapped Hailey on the shoulder and asked her something. In response, Hailey vigorously nodded her head, a huge smile on her face. Rita nodded and walked back to our table and plopped down in her seat.
