Elsa rested her head on my chest and I heard her start to lightly snore. I chuckled softly and reajusted myself so I could see her face. She's so cute when she sleeps, with her lips slightly parted and her eyebrows furrowing and unfurrowing occasionally. Every now and then a smile would appear on her face and then fade away slowly. I sat like that, just watching her until I felt my eyes starting to get heavy. I placed a gentle kiss on Elsa's forehead before letting the sleepiness take over and I fell into a deep slumber.

^^

When I woke up, I no longer felt the warmth Elsa's cold body brought mine. I slowly opened my eyes and saw she was sleeping in her respected bed. I looked around the room and saw four other people there: Elsa's parents, Anna, and Stephanie. I groggily sat up and Stephanie ran over to me. She pulled me into a tight hug. A REALLY tight hug.

"Steph!" I gasped. "Can't...breath!" I choked and she quickly released me with a slight blush.

"Sorry, I was just so worried!" She apologized. I smiled and squeezed her hand gently.

"Hey, hey, hey! It's alright!" I gave her a reassuring smile. I tried sitting up but a sharp pain spread up my leg. I winced and laid back down, the pain not leaving. Stephanie noticed this and sprang to her feet.

"I'm going to go get a nurse." She said and rushed out of the small space. Anna walked up to me next and gave me a much more gentle hug. When she pulled back she smiled at me.

"What was that for?" I asked her.

"For protecting my sister." She said with a grateful smile which I returned. Next Mr. and Mrs. Snow came up to me. Mrs. Snow patted my shoulder while Mr. Snow gave me a firm handshake and thanked me. They all then went back to their seats around Elsa's bed. I looked over at her and watched her sleeping. I sighed and stared at the ceiling until Stephanie returned with the nurse.

"What's wrong, dear?" She asked.

"My leg, it really hurts." I explained. She nodded and walked over to a locked cabinet. She retrieved some pills from a bottle and relocked the cabinet. She handed me the pills and a cup of water. I gave her acurious look.

"Pain relievers." She explained. I nodded and took the pills. I laid back in my bed and looked over at Elsa. "She'll be alright." The nurse said and I thanked her before she walked out of the room. Stephanie came over and sat on the edge of my bed, she held my hand and stared at my injured leg.

"How did you get here?" I asked because she wasn't old enough to drive yet, she was only 15 and knew how but didn't have a car.

"The bus." She shrugged. I nearlychoked on the water I was sipping

"The bus, this late at night?!" I asked incredulously. She slowly nodded. "That's very dangerous! Someone could have kidnapped you! You could've gotten hurt, or rapped, or both!" I exclaimed. She rolled her eyes.

"I can take care of myself, thanks! You're not my mother, you know!" She said and I could see the regret in her words as soon as she said them. I knew what was going to happen before the tears started building up. I pulled her into a hug and she started sobbing on my shoulder. She was orphaned only a year ago and still hadn't quite let go of the pain. I patted her back in a comforting way and tried to calm her down. I forgot about Elss's family until they started to quietly exit the room. When Stephanie finally calmed down I handed her the tissue box that was on the bedside table and she blew her nose. After all the snot was gone and her eyes were no longer puffy, she declaired she was hungry and went to the cafeteria to get us both food. After she left, Elsa's parents took this as an okay to come back inside. They went back to their chairs.
