Your POV

 The day spent out with Will was magical. After going to the park, we walked to a nearby diner and ate the best food.. I think Will called it burgers. 

I didn't have nightmares for a week, and I slept peacefully by Will's side. 

Every morning, I woke up beside him and I felt this warm feeling in my stomach. I think he felt it too, because he would always look at me and blush. I didn't know what it meant yet, but I knew that I liked being around Will, a lot. 

Joyce had been the loveliest mum, I couldn't believe I had a mum now! And a brother and sister too in Jonathon and Eleven. Will... I wasn't sure if he was a brother to me, it was different I guess. 

I had gotten to know the guys well, and even though I didn't go to school with them yet, I usually went with Will to their D and D games at Mike's house. 

But then, something happened. 

I woke up to find myself in the Upside Down. Over the past week I had tried to control when I entered this place... but sometimes I couldn't. I tried to close my eyes and go back, but I was still here, in the cold surrounded by the floating white specks. 

I looked around, I had to find a way to snap out of it. 

I was nearby Will's house, and I saw a familiar figure, standing just inside the doorway. It was Will, he looked petrified. I turned around, and the dark monster  was looming over the night sky. It had grown, it wanted Will. I couldn't let it get to him. I had created it, made it grow. Why couldn't it leave us alone?! Why couldn't it leave me alone?

The sky was pulsing with red and black, I turned back to  Will and ran towards him.

"Will!"

He turned to me, looking confused. 

"Two... This must be a dream... It isn't real"  I wasn't sure if he was correct, but I knew he was still scared. 

I  ran and stopped in front of him, cupping my hands to turn his face to me. 

"Will, it's ok. You're going to be fine. Just listen to me, listen to my voice" 

I was scared too, but Will needed me. 

I closed my eyes and concentrated, grasping Will's hand, and we hugged each other close as I tried to get us out of that place. 

I opened my eyes, gasping 

"Will! Will!" 

"Two! I'm here" I turned to look at Will, we were on the front doorstep. I had gotten us out. 

"How did you do that?"

"I don't know, I just did" I shrugged. 

Mum sleepily walked out of her bedroom and asked us what was wrong. She looked concerned, but more sad. Maybe this had happened before?

"Mum, we're fine. Just, go back to sleep." Will said, looking at me with a slight shake of the head. 

"Ok, sweetie go back to bed. And Two, both of you try to get some sleep ok?" With that, mum went back to bed. We were left staring at each other, still dreading what was to come. 

"Will, I'm sorry"

"Sorry for what? You got me out of that place, and now, maybe you could do it again if I ever go back. " 

"I created it Will! I'm the reason-"

"No you're not! You're the reason I feel safe now. I thought it was all in my head, but you were there too and now..."

"Now I don't know what to think" I finished for him. 

"It's all too crazy" He whispered. 

"I think we should just go back to sleep. Maybe it'll be clearer in the morning"

I nodded, leading Will back to the bedroom. 

"Will... can you, hold me?" I whispered. He nodded slowly, and carefully placed his arms around me, his right arm wrapped around my waist and his chin rested above the crown of my head. 

I placed my left hand on his back, rubbing it gently until I heard his breathing even out. 

I hoped the morning would bring some answers. I had the feeling that Will wasn't telling his mum everything. One thing was for sure, the shadow monster had grown. And it wanted Will.
