chapter 5 (jordan)

We are sitting in the classroom. The teacher asks for silence. "Class, there is another student we haven't introduced yet. She couldn't make it in time. Introduce yourself please." A girl with a black bob and red eyes walked to the front of the class. She opened her black lips. "Hey. Im alysia. Im a vampire." She paused. "its not like I want to get along or anything!" She looked away and walked to her table. "Oh yeah... I forgot I made her.... this is going to get interesting.." I mumbled. Hard enough for calypso and daniel to hear it, since the were sitting next- and in front of me. The table of alysia was placed next to Calypso's, so she heard it a little bit when she sat down. She looked at me, but seugged it off. We started siance class.
After the teacher instructed us about reactions with different materials, we needed to do an experiment. She placed a couple materials on each desk. You were supposed to get as manny reactions out of the materials while working together With the person sitting next to you. Ofcourse I remembered what I made different materials do when they came in contact with others. Not only that, but I could make them make newreactions if I wanted. this was going to be very easy. 

The teacher noted the scores down on the whiteboard At the end of the lesson. "Jizel's group?" Her voice sounded from the back of the class. "We got 2 reactions." Miss Ileana noted it down. "And the last one, Daniel and Jordan?" I smirked. Daniel counted the reactions I had created and he had noted down. Then he answered. "42..?" He counted them again. "Yeah, 42." The teacher looked at us. "42?" I smirked. "Yep, 42." The teacher looked sceptical, but noted it down anyway. the bell rang. "you are all dismissed. Next lesson I will say who won." All of the people ran outside through the door. When Daniel was about to walk, I stopped him, and gestured to the teacher who was walking toward us. "and where do you two think you are going? We have to control your reactions." She grabbed the paper off of Daniels desk and reads it through. Daniel looked at calypso, and they nodded to each other. Then calypso went outside and waited on the hall for us, together with Alysia. That friendship is going to be bothersome. I turned around anyway, and faced miss Ileana, who was frowning while reading the paper. "interesting." She grabbed the multiple materials on the desk, and followed the steps Daniel had noted down. 42 reactions and 30 minutes later, she sighed. "they are all correct. I think you even discovered 2 new reactions." I smiled. She looked defeated. Daniel looked at me. "two new reactions? How?" I faked a confused face and prepared the lie of the day. "the same way all of the others were discovered. By putting stuff together. Wasn't that the purpose of the project?" Daniels face cleared up, and the teacher looked down to her feet. They believed it. at least, for now. I'm sure the secret will come out soon, but let's keep it classified for now.

After we were dismissed we regrouped with the girls, who apparently had quite the talk. They looked like they were ready to exchange friendships bracelets. Wonderful. Just my luck. This time, Alysia got a better look of my face. She stared into my eyes, then her face filled with regignision. "no you're not! You can't be!" she became furious. Crap. I sighed. "Aly, calm down." She didn't. "please don't tell me these are your-" she pointed back and forth while saying that. I corrected her before she could give anything away. "friends, yes." I glared at her, making her stop about that. She sighed. "you are the most cruel man I have ever known." I acted as if I was hurt. "I can't be the most cruel of all the men you have ever met in your immortal life!" she glared at me. "you are the fir- worst!" Daniel was confused. Calypso started giggling. Daniel asked it first. "so you two already know each other?" Alysia turned to him. "he is my ex. I would stay away from him if you want to live your life." Calypso hugged Aly from behind to calm her down. "hey, he can't be that bad! At least we will have some fun!" Alysia sighed a sigh of defeat. "fine. I'll play along with your 'game' whatever it is this time. At least I'm happy immortality is a thing." I shot her a look like 'no-problem'. 

After what felt like hours, we all went to our dorms. The dorms were split between boys and girls, each dorm containing 3 students. The dorms were protected with a magic-block, which Is used so you can't use magic in the assigned area. Calypso and Alysia were in the same dorm, together with a girl named destiny. I was in a dorm with Daniel and a guy named miller. I remembered that miller was a red haired guy in our class, wo said he had 'telekinesis'. He 'showed' some of his powers during his introduction. When I say 'showed telekinesis' I mean he hypnotised everyone to make them see things floating in the air. He wasn't a very good liar, and especially if hypnosis doesn't work on a person like me. it is, however, interesting that he would lie about his power. But who am I to judge? Oh yeah. God. Nevermind that then. I was walking to my dorm together with Daniel, since we were in the same one. When I opened the door, I saw the redhead lying on his bed, reading a book. "be welcome" he said, non-enthusiastically, while waving at us and not looking up from his book. I walked inside, claiming one of the beds. "why thank you." I answered sarcastically. Daniel claimed the third and last bed, which was on my right. On the left side of my bed was a wall. Millers bed was on the other side of the room. It was pretty late already. School starts late tomorrow, so we all agreed to go to sleep and talk tomorrow. The three of us lie down on our beds. I stare at the ceiling. Since I don't have any need to sleep, I didn't have anything to do until sunrise. This was going to be a long night.
