After P.E. finished, we walked to the next lesson. However, our walk ended abruptly, with the sound of an alarm. A voice sounded from the speakers. "do not panic people, it's just a minor cyberattack. We have everything under control. Although, due to unfortunate events, everyone is required to leave the school terrain immediately." The chairwomen concluded. In the background sounded a voice, but I was unable to hear what it said. Although the response was clear. "I am not putting my students in danger just because we can't handle this!" then the speakers died. Jordan's voice sounded next to me. "an attack, huh." I turned to him, trying not to panic. "you heard what the voice said?" he suppressed a smirk. "of course. It said something about using the strongest class to fight against what's coming. That would be," he obviously waited for me to finish his sentence. "6c, our class." He let the smirk escape. "exactly. Bu the chairwomen doesn't want that does she?" Jordan looked at Daniel, waiting patiently. he reacted to that. "they probably sabotaged them or something..." Jordan sighed. "almost. What I concluded is that the attacker probably messed with the files of our class and then left a warning message. Which means they probably suspected that they would use us as defence, which would mean that they looked into us and don't see us as a threat." He looked patiently to me and Dan. Daniel looked at me. "so they are stronger than us..." I sighed and glared at Jordan. "although one of the files isn't very accurate." Jordan chucked. "so, what are we going to do? Run or fight? When we fight, I can't guarantee that you will come back alive." Daniel gulped. A chill went down my spine. Then I opened my mouth. "let's... go to my house... it's probably the safest. Lots of healers and stuff." Dan nodded. Jordan turned around. "so it's decided then! To calypso's house we go." He started walking. "Jordan, wait! What about Alysia?" Jordan stopped. "oh yeah... almost forgot she's also in this century..." he mumbled, although I couldn't hear it over the sound of the alarm. He closed his eyes for a second, and then sighed. "don't worry, she's already outside. Let's find her"
After we reunited with Alysia, we went to my house. I closed the door behind my friends. "make yourself at home." Daniel looked at me, then at Jordan, and smiled. "oh my! I just remembered!" he grabbed Alysia by her arm. "we have to do something! Remember?" Alysia looked confused. "what-?" before she could finish her sentence, Dan snatched her away and went outside, leaving me with a wink and a grin on his face. Jordan sighed. "he really is an idiot isn't he?" I sighed too. "yeah." Jordan sat down on a chair. I sat down next to him. "crap!" I abruptly jumped out of my seat. Jordan looked at me. "hm?" such bad timing. "tonight... my confession of faith... oh crap... how could I forget?" Jordan sighed. "and now the full version?" I sat back down. "tonight I have my confession of faith, at the church... I completely forgot. My mom is supposed to come home around half past seven, and the confirmation starts at eight. I'm supposed to be ready before she comes home. Arggghh..." I sighed in frustration. Jordan had a smug on his face. "so, you believe in god, huh?" I looked at him. "y-yeah, so what?" Jordan smirked. "to be honest, I don't really think he's all that loving." He what?! "y-you....." I tried coming up with an argument. After some fast thinking, I came up with something. "you are coming with me tonight! To experience god's love through the priest and nuns!" Jordan tried to hold back laughter, but that only angered me more. "what's so funny?!" he managed to collect himself again. "oh, you have no idea how amusing this is. Fine. I'll come to your confession nonsense." For some reason that made me really happy. "really?" my eyes lit up. Jordan smirked at the sight of my face. "oh? I thought this was supposed to be punishment. Why do you look so happy?" I tried to calm myself. "I-I'm not!" he chuckled. "anyway, shouldn't you be getting ready? It's almost seven." I jumped. "already?! Oh god!" I turned to Jordan. "stay here please." Then I ran to my room, changing into my new dress I bought for this.
