His eyes shifted from Daniel to me. I looked away to avoid eye contact. Jordan was the one to break the silence. "I take it Daniel is going to be the first one to ask?" Daniel looked at Jordan. "...yes." He took a deep breath. I saw he hadn't expected this. When he grabbed enough courage together, he finally spoke. "are you hiding something? Are you actually far more stronger then you show? If so, please tell us!" he closed his eyes and waited for a response. He opened his eyes again when he heard the sound of Jordan's voice. I looked at Jordan again. He looked amused. I was scared. "I knew you were smart, but I didn't expect you to get that far so soon. I guess I was too hasty with giving clues." He smirked. I opened my mouth for once. "s-so Dan was right? P-please explain!" he laughed. "nicknames... well, you two are really close. I was about to explain anyway, so listen carefully. Also, you can't tell this to anyone." When he said the last part, he put his finger to his lips, as in 'shhhhh'. I'm not going to lie, I blushed on that move. "s-sure..." I said. Daniel agreed too. Jordan started to explain. "it's true that I'm holding back. But if I didn't, I'd get too much attention, and that machine would probably break." Daniel's eyes widened. "you're that strong!? I mean, I had my suspicions, but I didn't expect this..." I was in a small shock. "w-what are you..?" Jordan looked at me. "good that you asked. let's just say that I'm probably the most powerful person in this room." He said casually. Daniel responded. "...how?" Jordan looked amused. "I don't really know where I got my power." We both were speechless. Eventually, Daniel could speak again. "so that's all? Just powerful?" Jordan looked at him "yup." I can finally say something. "that's.... that's so cool!!" the sound of the bell echoed through the cafeteria. Jordan looked Daniel in his eyes. "this is going to be very interesting." The trio stood up and walked to the science classroom. from that moment, a new, but unexpected friendship was formed.
