/Theo's POV/

I'm looking at the rose in my hand, remembering Sophia's sweet full lips and feeling that went across me everytime we kissed. Though she was a year younger, she was the most beautiful girl I've ever met, I swear. She looked like a freaking goddess. And they say college girls are hot.

I'm feeling kind of nervous, meeting her family. Maybe her father won't like me? My ex's father didn't so at least it won't be a new feeling. I'm not worried about her mom or stepmom. Sophia said that she is fine. And than there's her sister. Her name starts with S, I think? Stephanie? Is that it? I honestly don't have a clue. I just know, she must be ugly and pain in the ass. At least Sophia said so, altough I don't think any girl is really ugly. But maybe she's just not that pretty. Well she can't beat Sophia, that's for sure. And her being pain in the ass? I don't know we'll see.

"Theo, honey!"

I'm hiding flower behind my back while hugging Sophia with one hand.

"Soph!"

I smile happily while I kiss her passionatelly. It's hard to let her go, but when the time lapses, we pull off. I give her the rose.

"Oh my god, Theo this is just so sweet!"

She smiles and hugs me tight. I laugh and hug her back. She's just such a sweetheart. I really love her. I never fell in love with someone so fast as I did with her.

"Everything is worth to try just to see your smile."

Woah, I may be an artist but I don't know from where that poetic line came from. But luckily she thinks is romantic. At least I think that her giggling means that. Back in high school I was known as a ladies' man but truly, I can be so clumsy around them. Sometimes they scare a shit out of me. I take her hand and we head to the car.

"Nervous?"

She asks and I shrug. I am, but I wouldn't be much of  man if I would confess that, right?

"Little."

I say, so I wouldn't lie to her either. She smiles, kissing me on the cheek.

"Don't worry, you're such pefection they'll love you as soon as you'll walk through that door."

I smile to her. She knows how to make a person feel better.

"Come on!"

She chuckles and jumps over to my car. She is also a little too much girlie sometimes but no one is perfect, right? I sit on drivers' seat and start the car, following the instructions she is giving me. I've never been to her house before. And I must say it's huge. But she is living with her parents and her dad is a bussines man. So, I shouldn't be surprised? I slowly follow her among the dirveway to the door, as she rings the doorbell.

"Shailene , get that!"

A middle age woman voice yells from inside. Nothing moves for a bit.

"Shailene, why are you so difficult?! I asked you something!"

Voice yells again, a bit more angrily. I awkwardly stand there and I can see Sophia rolling her eyes.

"Okay, okay I'm getting it!"

A young woman's voice groans back and I hear footsteps. So that's the 'pain in the ass' sister.

"Sorry."

Sophia mumbles and I hug her among the waist, telling her it's not problem. The door swing open and my eyes meet another ones. So pretty blue ones and I barely hold my 'woah' back, biting my tongue. I face a beautiful long-haired blonde girl in a white dress, which I must say, suits her so much. She's the most beautiful...Okay Theo what the hell are you thinking, you are holding your girlfriend beside you at the moment! I force myself to go back to reality, trying not to stare at "the ugly" sister. I hope Sophia didn't notice. But luckily she's to busy with ignoring the girl that opened the door and storming inside while mumbling "Thanks for getting the door so fast you cow." Girl just rolls her eyes and steps aside so I can come in too. She doesn't look happy about my visit. Woah, her and Sophia must really hate eachother.

"Hey."

I smile to her. She fakes smile me back and closes the door. Wow, how nice. I put my hand out.

"I'm Theo."

Trying to be a gentleman wasn't my thing in high school but college changed me. Girl stares at my hand and than looks back at me.

"Shailene."

Shailene, right. Unusual name. Before I can say 'Nice to meet you' she storms away as well and I have no other choice but follow her. I'm happy Sophia joins me again.

"Come hun, dinner is almost ready."

She says, happily and takes me to the dinning room. It's very beautiful here, I must say.

"Theo this is Isobel."

I shake hands with a good-looking middle age woman and I recognize her voice as they yelling voice before. But now it's much more gentle.

"Theo is so nice to finally meet you."

She smiles at me and I smile back. There's a real happines and excitment in her eyes, that make fell a little better. At least now I know for sure, that she likes me.

"Please m'am, pleasure is all mine."

I say and than let Sophia drag me to the other side of the room, where I finally face her father. I smile nervously at him. He stares with me with that judgy look that fathers usually give to their daughter's boyfriends. nd it's really creeping me out. But than h smiles widely and roughly shakes my hand.

"Welcome to the family, son."

I can't describe the relief that spreads through my body. He likes me. He likes me. A little dizzy, I follow Sophia to the table and sit on the last empty chair. Next to her pretty sister. Wait, did I just say pretty? Oh, no. I meant sister. Just sister. Without pretty. I feel the blush on my face, when I feel ashamed of my thoughts. I can't think that Shailene's pretty. Not in that way. I nervously grab a fork and start to eat my meal, making no noise at all, just thinking about Sophia's family.

"Theo?"

"Mm?"

I look up, and face Sophia, who's watching me with some kind of expectation. I raise my brow, not having an idea, what does she want.

"What do you study Theo?"

Her father says, and I can hear, that he didn't say the question for the first time. God, I'm so dumb.

"Oh, sorry. Well I study photography."

"Do you like it?"

Says Isobel. I nod quickly.

"Very much. I love photography."

They all nod and than we finish our dinner among everyday's chatter. After I say thank you to Isobel, who's taking my plate and Sophia leaves to living room with her father to grab some drink, I stay at the table alone, with Shailene. She didn't say anything for the whole time of our dinner. I try to smile at her but she just glares at me. What's this girl's problem, for gods' sake?

Guys, I'm so sorry it took so long, ugh. I  was just really busy with school and I couldn't afford to update. But here it is now, and i really hope u like it. Sorry for all the mistakes, I tried to be fast.
