Today, I go back to college I was pretty scared but pretty excited. The dumb thing was I didn't get to get a room with any of the girls (Millie,Sophia etc) but that was okay because our whole squad were in the same dorm hall.
I woke up a bit late but my beautiful mother made breakfast, prepared my clothes, everything for this day to be perfect.
She knows that im excited to go.Now, the hardest thing to do : wake up.
"Sunshine, time to get up." I yawn when I hear my mom's voice near my ear but don't move.
"Please Let me sleep." I mumble.
"Sorry sunshine but today, you're going to college, whatever what you try to do !" She opens up the curtains and I sob. I don't have the choice.
About two hours later we started packing my belongings in the car. And the we drove to the school.
Once we turned up to the school, my mom and I were going over my list
"Bag?"
"Yes"
"Clothes?"
"Yes"
"Books?"
"Yes"
"Brain"
I look up my mom and nod again.
"Okay so you have everything, you're ready for your first day. Oh and I made you a sandwich, in case you're hungry." She says and holds me another little bag. She thinks about everything for me.
I don't have to do anything, she acts as if I'm a princess. I love her.
"Thank you Mom for everything" I simply say and open the front door. I'm about to get out of the car when you hear my mom's voice.
"You forgot something !" She says, her shoulder against the door's corner.
I frown, trying to think of what ive forgotten. I have my bag, my stuff, my keys...I run back to the car and give my mom a hug. "This is what I forgot right?"
"Yes, now get in there!" And with that she left.
I looked up around the campus, it was big real big.I grabbed my phone out to text the groupchat where to go, then I heard someone whisper in my ear "hey stranger"
I turned around and see Wyatt and Jaeden standing there with big smiles on there faces.We all hugged and started laughing in unison.
"Okay let's get these babies up in my room" I say to both of them, they both grabbed some boxes and my suitcases.
Wyatt lead me to the dorms, while Jaeden walked Besides me showing quick ways to get to classes fast and doing a little tour of the college.
"thankyou Guys! This is a real big help"
"Anything for my girl" Wyatt says with a wink.
Jaeden and I look at each other and he mimes "what the fuck"
About five minutes later we reach my dorm room.
"145 with Cindy Hastings, is that correct?" Wyatt asks me.
I look down at the note that Uncle Bob gave me it had a key attached to it.
Room 145 - Cindy Hastings
"Correct" I say to him.
I grab the key off the note and open the door.The room was nice and neat and had heaps of space.There were two beds with storage containers underneath and three mini drawers, one window and two small long wardrobes.
Wyatt and Jaeden were putting all my belongings in my room, I looked around Cindy's side of the room on the wall she had little fairly lights and a MacDemarco poster, besides the poster were photo's on a string and then there was a frame with Polaroids in it, pretty cute.
I looked through the polaroids "aww" I say to myself looking at a picture of her and her dog. Her face seemed familiar but I couldn't quite remember where from. I looked through I couple more but one in particular caught my eyes.
It was a Polaroid of her and Finn, they were holding electric guitar's and seemed to be in a music store, then everything clicked. Cindy from Instagram she's my roommate, fuck.
I stared at the picture again.He looked so happy, like really happy.I wasn't angry or anything, should i be? After all I didn't speak keep in contact with him after I left.
My thoughts were cut short when Wyatt and Jaeden walked in.
"Last box," Wyatt grunts, hefting the giant box over his shoulder with little effort.
"Jeez, Wyatt," i smirk, sitting cross-legged on my bed. "You're so strong." He smiles as he sets down and shrugs.
"Ah, you're just glad Jaeden and I carried all the boxes," he laughs, flexing his arm anyway.
"Ooh, so strong," I say in mock adoration (although secretly I love it).
"Wow, I wonder if my strong, strong man can help me assemble this book shelf?" He laughs, eyeing the big box from IKEA.
"Yes, he certainly can, but only with assistant from a pretty lady," he laughs, wrapping his arm around my waist and kissing my cheek.
"Ew gross, so are you guys a thing now" Jaeden smirks.
"Just friends" we both reply to him.
"Well anyways,I made you a present to hang up in your dorm," he says shyly, pulling a wrapped square from out of one of the boxes. "Naw Jaeden that's so sweet," i grin, taking the package and shooting him a wide smile.
You don't have to hang it up if you don't want to, I just wanted it to remind you of home...and of our squad..." he trails off,rubbing his arms.
"Jaeden," i breathe, unwrapping the present and unveiling a beautifully painted canvas--a perfect replica of my favorite place back home with our whole squad as silhouettes "This is beautiful, thank you," I exclaim, setting it down and wrapping him in a hug.
"You like it? I painted it myself," he says softly, watching as I position it on the wall. "Can I hang it here?" He nods, grabbing a hammer. "I'd love that."
