Yoongi knew he was being unfair to the team. If anything, they were trying to help him and Chiseo. But there was no way he was going to work with that girl. It's already painful enough he has to live under the same roof as the indecent and discourteous female, but to converse with the her about something other than pure hatred and annoyance would be much more rigorous than enduring the pain and distress that is to come from the games.
Chiseo speaks up. "I agree. Besides, I'm already in a slowly progressing squad. We may not have all of our members, but we're slowly building our alliance up to par."
"I'm working myself to assemble my own group. So far I have one other ally, but I'm getting there of course. " Yoongi stated proudly.
Sangnim smiled at the two. "That's outstanding you two, but-"
"That really is outstanding Yoongi. Not a lot of loners I know can even get pass say hi to others. Looks like someone's putting in their big boy pants" Chiseo sneered.
"Now now Chiseo. That was uncall-"
"No Sangnim she's right. At least I'm actually doing something useful while I'm here, unlike a certain someone who likes to wake up naked in the bed of others" Yoongi shot back.
Chiseo angrily rose from her seat and glared furiously at Yoongi. "At least I have human beings to wake up to, and not just some filthy dog!"
"Say something like that again and I will-"
"THAT IS ENOUGH YOU TWO!" Sangnim shouted, mentally drained from hearing Yoongi and Chiseo argue every single minute problem.
The whole room then fell silent, apart from little whimpers coming from the pup near Jennie's seat.
Yoongi stood up.
"Where is my bedroom?" He asked through gritted teeth. He doesn't know how much more of this nonsense he can take.
"Up the stairs then down the hall, last door on your left" Jennie responded, pointing to the stairs.
Yoongi thanked Jennie and excused himself from the table, following the directions that Jennie addressed him yet again. Holly instinctively got up and left Jennie's side to follow his owner up the stairs and into the bedroom.
The door to Yoongi's room slid open upon Yoongi and Holly's presence.
Instead of taking in the elegant appearance of the bedroom like he did the living room and somewhat the dining room, Yoongi sat down on the bed to give himself some time to cool down and actually think of the accident that occurred down in the dining room.
Yoongi knew that he wasn't the cause of what happened down there. If Chiseo hadn't said anything while he was trying to reveal to Sangnim his current status, non of this would have happened. He wouldn't be in his room sulking and absorbed into his thoughts, he would still be in the dining room with the others, reasoning with Sangnim about her gimmick and why it wouldn't have worked, and he would have been actually enjoying himself. But of course, Chiseo has to open her mouth. Maybe it would have been better if he didn't open his mouth and say such vulgar and inappropriate things about Chiseo and her 'problem'. Then again she kind of deserves it for all the things she had ever said to Yoongi.
A knock came from the bedroom door, interrupting Yoongi's train of thoughts.
It was then Yoongi actually took a couple seconds to observe his room. (I really don't feel like describing the room so here it is)
Yoongi mumbled come in to who ever was at the door, hoping they heard him.
Quiet footsteps made its way over Yoongi's bed and the boy almost immediately figured out who it was.
"I know you may not want to talk about it but you do know this isn't your fault right?"
Yoongi stayed silent and continued to stare at the ceiling.
Jennie sighed knowing this would be a lost cost.
"Chiseo got in trouble for saying the stuff she said to you. Sangnim was heated with her and Chiwon actually said something for once. He didn't seem as nearly as pisses off as Sangnim was but he did tell her not to do that again. Sunho kept quiet but did glance at me a couple of times. He's weird. Anyway that pretty much sums it up."
Yoongi sighed in relief. He wasn't in trouble like he thought he would be.
"Thanks Jennie. Sorry about what happened during dinner. She just really annoys me sometimes and I couldn't hold it in. It was like she was asking for it" Yoongi admitted. He honestly didn't want to argue with Chiseo at all while they stayed in the Capitol, thinking it would be worthless. But one thing lead to another and Yoongi blew up.
Jennie chucked. "You don't have to apologize. If anything, I was ready to jump over the table and rip her hair out of her scalp. She's so annoying."
Yoongi laughed. "Are you serious? You don't like her either? I thought it was just me and Holly!"
"Yoongi let me tell you......."
And with that, the two spent the rest of the hour talking about Chiseo and how almost everyone that has met her so far, apart from her personal assistant, dislikes the young lady. They also brushed up on the subject of Jennie being Yoongi's personal assistant. She told him that every tribute has a personal stylist that also can chose to work as a personal assistant. In this case, Jennie and Sunho chose to work as an assistant to Yoongi and Chiseo.
Holly had also found his way into Yoongi and Jennie's conversation, barking and playing around when he felt the need was necessary.
Soon the sun started to set, reminding Yoongi that time was still a thing of the present.
"Well, time really does fly when your having fun doesn't it Yoongi? It's time for me to head to my room. If you need me, I'm the next the hall down and the second door to your right. Just give me a knock" Jennie said, leaving Yoongi and Holly alone once again.
Jennie's presence had really helped Yoongi calm down from the recent event. He felt lucky to have a friend like her.
Yoongi sat down on the chair next to the black lamp and watched as the sun settled down behind the mountains that stood strongly behind Seoul, creating a beautiful pattern of pink, orange, and yellow rays of light in the sky.
Yoongi hadn't felt so calm and relaxed since he arrived in the Capitol.
