Jennie silently stared at the television, a look of no emotion plastered on her clearly exhausted face. Sleep didn't accompany her the previous night and it showed through the droopy bags that hung massively under her eyes. She sat at the edge of the bed, the only movement evident from her body being the meager rise and fall of her chest as her breaths were slow and shallow. She hadn't eaten either. Her stomach frequently cried out to her, noting her need for just the slightest bit of food. However, she refused to stir from her spot on the furniture, afraid that if she wasn't watching his every movement, he may some how notice her missing presence from behind the screen, slip up from distraction or anguish, and end up deceased. Just like the previous tributes who lost the game of life. She felt miserable.
Holly slept soundlessly beside Jennie's foot. He hasn't left her side since his owner had gone away, hopefully coming back soon to where they currently reside in the Capital.
Jennie watched as the youngest member of the group, Jungkook if her clouded mind allowed her to remember correctly, climb the jagged, rocky cliff slowly and cautiously. She had watched when he nearly fell to his death (or at least the death of the bones under his torso) and recalled the feeling of horror, the absolute terror she felt when she thought he was a goner. The breath she took when Yoongi caught the boy was bigger than life itself, and also reminded her as to why she had an infatuation with District 12's boy tribute. He was so selfless (to certain people).
Now she watched as the boys discovered a hidden cave beyond Jungkook's close-to-rocky-grave.
"Come on guys. You can do it. I believe in you...."

"I can't believe we found this cave. Our luck right now is phenomenal!"
"Correction Hoseok-hyung, I found this place. May I remind you I almost fell to my death finding this cave. I deserve an entire crown."
"May I remind you that I saved your ass from that certain death?"
The leader glared at the three of them. "May I remind you three that I will slap all of you in a second if you keep bickering over who saved who and who found what."
Needless to say, that effectively shut the three up.
Seokjin came by and placed a hand on Namjoon's shoulder.
"Now what? We found a cave for shelter that thankfully has a water source just outside from it. What about food and weapons? Jungkook only brought so much with him, not that it isn't helpful at all, but we'll run out of food soon. Not to mention that protection is out of the question." (oh bars)
The leader sighed, contemplating on what the next plan of execution could possibly be, or even if there could possibly be one. He knows the condition of the group at the moment is arguably the worst it can get, maybe even the worst in this entire ticking time bomb the Capital made as a murder dome. Everyone was exhausted from walking, and soon after, dragging their feet across dirt, sand, and brown wilting grass the entire day. Though the youngest was the only one wounded, the groans and hisses from the slightest shift of his body had made it known to everyone that he may be down and out for a while. Not only that, but to add insult to injury, they have no means of protection from any of the other tributes and food for the team was scarce. So right about now, Namjoon was hanging from a string over an endless pool of dreadful possibilities that will either make or break the future of everyone residing in the cave.
"We need to find food soon. Though water is right next to us, that will only keep us going for so long and I don't think we'll last long with the little bit of food we have. We have to go hunting soon, as in 'before the sunsets' soon," Namjoon suggested.
Silence floated through the cave. Of course non of them wanted to leave. Given that they've been trudging around nothing but dirt and withering grass all while no signs of any sort of hydration came across their path, a moist and relatively comforting cave sounded like heaven to them.
Yoongi abruptly stood up from the cave ground. "I'll go. I'm kinda experienced with this type of thing."
"I'll go with you. I've seen and been with animals my entire life and trust me when I say I know how to lure any animal in," Seokjin quipped, already walking over to the supplies to grab any necessities needed for a mini expedition.
Namjoon grabbed Seokjin's arm, stopping him in his tracks. "No. I can't just send you guys out there like that. You two can either get seriously hurt or worst, and that's not something I'm risking."
"Namjoon let go. We need to get some food. You said it yourself, non of us will last long without anything edible around and you can't keep doing things yourself," Seokjin retorted, trying to free himself from the leader's tight grasp.
"No I'm not letting you two go out there. I'd rather take this one myself."
Seeing tension was building up, Jimin took this as a chance to help out. He walked over to Namjoon and grabbed his shoulder. "Hyung, Seokjin is right. We get it you're the leader and that's a huge responsibility. We all deeply appreciate what you've done for us so far. But that's just it. You've done so much for us and we need to return the favor. I can't tell you to relax because.....well..... you get the point. But at least calm down a bit okay?"
A minute had gone by. Now two. Namjoon finally let out a heavy breath and pulled his arm back from Seokjin's arm. His gazed softened at the two.
"You two better be back before sunset. Any later and I'll make it my own personal ambition to hunt you down and off with you myself. Got it?"
Seokjin and Yoongi nodded. They both reached for their own bag before Namjoon stopped them.
"Try to bring one bag. Pack less just incase someone tries to rob you two. You wouldn't need much any ways."
The duo quickly and quietly opted for Seokjin to carry the bag while Yoongi does the physical work. The older was good at analyzing and pointing out wildlife aspects, so he would be of verbal aid. Plus, Seokjin gladly would take any opportunity to miss out on getting his hands bloody.
Yoongi threw the bag over his shoulder and looked everyone over. "We'll be back soon. Stay here for the meantime I guess."
And with that, Seokjin and Yoongi hastily departed from the cave and carefully descended down the deathly slippery vines and jagged cliff. Namjoon sat down next to Hoseok, who was quietly trying to digest the fact that two of his friends are currently on the battlegrounds of death and sheer horror. Not to mention, he sat down and watched the anger and tension build up between a few of them. Hoseok was a sensitive person, so a lot of the times his emotions and mood were based on the mood of others. To sum it up, Hoseok wasn't the brightest shining sun right now like he usually was. He began to rub circles into the leaders back.
"They'll be okay Namjoon. Seokjin's smart and Yoongi's strong. Nothing will break them apart."
Namjoon sighed for the umpteenth time that day. "You're right. They'll make it...."
