After hours of being in the Training Center, the musky stench of sweat and adrenaline cramming the air, the intercom turned on, signaling the end of the first day of training.
A female's voice blared through-out the large room. "Ladies and gentlemen of the Districts. This announcement marks the end of day 1 of your 2 weeks of training. Please exit through the elevators and we will see you all tomorrow. Good night."
The tributes used what was left of their energy to drag themselves over to the elevators. A bunch got on while the rest lazily waited patiently for the elevators to come back down and haul up the remaining tributes.
Yoongi was leaning against the wall near the elevator, eyes closed and body trying it's best to keep him from falling. He had little energy left, barely any enough to simply lift his toes.
Namjoon trudged over to Yoongi, looking almost as tired as him. Almost.
"Hey Yoongi. We're all meeting on the roof later tonight to talk about some stuff for the games and just chill. Around 12 o'clock-ish. You in?"
Yoongi subconsciously agreed to Namjoon's invite, nodding his head lightly. He made a mental note to remember the small meet up later tonight.
Namjoon smiled, dimple showing greatly. "Great! See ya then."
And with that, Namjoon turned on his foot and walked away, leaving Yoongi with his own empty thoughts.
After the elevator came back down for the third time, Yoongi squeezed himself in with the last bunch of tributes. The other 6 had already gone to their rooms, so Yoongi was silent in the elevator corner while some of the other tributes either mingled with one another or quietly stood in the elevator with their only thoughts being bed, shower, and food.
The elevator began to clear out like tired students at the end of a depleting day of school. One by one did the tributes empty out the small space, until one tribute was left on the elevator.
Yoongi gently pressed the button with the number '12' printed on it and quietly waited for the elevator to reach his floor. He was grateful that Chiseo had decided to take the first elevator up, knowing something was gonna end up broken if the two were alone in the elevator.
The elevator door opened and Yoongi walked out, making his way to the stairs.
"Hey Yoongi. How was your first day of training?" a voice said from the couch as Yoongi passed it.
Yoongi turned his head and saw Jennie lounging on the couch, flipping through the TV channels trying to find something other to than Tribute Parade highlights and boring shopping channels to watch.
"Training went well. I met 6 pretty cool guys, who are now my new teammates. We're supposed to meet on the roof later tonight," Yoongi said.
"Well if that's the case, you only got four hours. Go ahead and get in the shower. I'll bring you up a plate of dinner and you can rest from there,"
"Thanks Jennie. You're the best," Yoongi exclaimed, making his way up the stairs and into his room.
"Yeah I know."

The penthouse was quiet. Silence danced through the air bringing peace and serenity in its wake. Sleeping bodies took their place in beds, exhaustion and drowsiness taking toll on their minds. The muffled sound of the wide awake streets of the Capitol made its way through the walls of the penthouse, yet everyone remains sleep. All except one.
Yoongi grabbed the blue robe resting at the edge of his bed and put it on.
He was ready to leave his room, until Holly decided to wake up and beg for Yoongi to come back or let him tag along.
